Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Canadanice hostel to stay! large room, big beds, heavy curtains that blocked out the light, and of course the amazing terrace with the view. i did find the noise from the music of the clubs to bother me inside the rooms. the bathrooms also had a slight odour to them. still a great place to stay!

United KingdomOnly thing that wasn’t ideal was the noise from the beach was pretty loud until 3am however that isn’t the hostels fault the music is just very loud and the bathrooms aren’t the largest but do the job
Stating the obvious the view was phenomenal and the seating outside is a good area to socialise with fellow stayers. This hostel also has a fridge on entrance where you can store water snacks etc. Lastly the dorm was very spacious and curtains were completely blackout

Nice view, very nice staff always trying to help. Property is very clean, spacious rooms with nice beds. Mattresses rather hard but I liked it. Cookies and bananas for free all day. Beach towels, sunscreen, bug spray and lots of products to use for free.

IndiaThe climb to the hostel is tough but definitely worth it. They could also have some events/games to have a better vibe and let the travellers bond, which I felt was missing, given the big common space they have.
Everything about this hostel is wonderful. The views, the facilities, the staff, and the cleanliness. They provide anything and everything you may need, even snorkelling kits! The location keeps you away from the blasting music all night and lets you enjoy beautiful sunsets.

United KingdomShowers leaked slightly, meaning low water pressure from the shower head.
The view. This hostel truly does have the best view on the island. I loved sitting on the stalls and enjoying breakfast and a cup of tea (included in the price - bananas, toasted bread, jam or butter). The location is fantastic - a short but very steep walk into the hustle and bustle of phi phi. All staff were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much of an ask and you can tell that they take pride in their hostel. Staff are available to help you to and from the pier. The 10-bed dorm was spacious and clean, the beds were large and comfortable with a light and charging port. Towels are provided and changed daily. The room and the two shared bathrooms are cleaned every morning. There is a communal fridge for guests to use, free suncream, buy spray, aloe Vera and sewing supplies are available for guests too. The bathrooms are equipped with toilet roll, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. This has been my favourite stay to date, without a doubt.

CanadaThe hike to the hostel, especially after a night of drinking or during the daytime heat. If you are reasonably fit and value all of the items included, the location is totally worth it.
This is easily one of my favorite hostels throughout my time in Thailand. They provide you with all the ammenities you would need such as ear plugs, aloe vera, sun screen, snorkeling gear, etc. The bathrooms are very clean and provide shampoo, conditioner, soap and tooth paste. The blanket was softer than my own back home and the beds were reasonably comfortable with good A/C. There is coffee/tea, cookies, bananas, toast and noodles available 24/7. The view is one of the nicest on the island but it comes at a price...

AustraliaBeautiful hostel, probably one of the best ones in Phi Phi if you're looking to get away from the parties and the bucket drinkers. The view is incredible, there are a lot of places to sit and enjoy it. The coffee/tea/snack provisions were great. Always clean and maintained well, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and beds are private with curtains. The climb to get there can be intense, especially in the mid day heat, but so worth it. Of course you can still hear the beach bars at night but you won't find anywhere to stay in Phi Phi where you can't.

FranceThe breakfast options are a bit light. Also it’s a bit of a hike to reach the hostel but it was not an issue for me.
Huge room, the bathrooms were very clean. Everything is available from beach towels to snorkeling masks and insect repellent. They do your bed every day which is quite nice. The staff is friendly. There is a laundry service available too. The view is also incredible.

IsraelReally clean and good rooms and beds, they even do your bed... They provide alot of stuff for the guests to take or use: coffee, bananas, cookies, snorkel, iron, hair conditioner (first time i saw this in a Hostel). The team was very helpful and nice. Hammocks and really beautiful view It's abit of a walk to get there from the pier, but still it was worth it and outside the crowded area.

ItalyIf I could give it an 11, I would! This was one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed—the girls at reception were incredibly sweet and always kind. Access to the rooms is via a key card. Each room has two bathrooms (with two sinks, two showers, and two toilets) plus an additional sink station outside, making a total of three sinks. Next to the outdoor sink, cotton swabs and tissues were available, while the showers were stocked with shampoo, shower gel, and even hair conditioner. Each bed had its own power outlet and a locker assigned to it. The floors in the room were always spotless, the beds were very comfortable, and the blankets were incredibly soft. The beds were made daily, and towels were also changed every day. Outside, guests had access at any time to toast, instant coffee, hot and cold water dispensers, cookies, instant noodles, and bananas. Additionally, the hostel provided a separate shelf with snorkeling masks, beach towels, waterproof phone covers, earplugs, sunscreen, after-sun lotion, and much more. The view made everything even more magical and wonderful. At night, you could hear some music from the city, but the dormitory was fairly soundproof. The noise was noticeable but nothing that a pair of earplugs couldn’t fix. I truly appreciate the attention to detail—everything was perfect. I highly recommend this hostel!
