It was a bit of a hike from the ferry terminal up a steep hill but so so worth it for the view.

When I got off the ferry I was met by someone from the hostel to help carry my bag which was really appreciated as its a bit of a hike up a hill. The staff are so friendly and I was met with a lovely bottle of chilled water when I 1st arrived before being shown my bunk bed in a 12 bedroom dorm. My bed had black out curtains and a plug point for charging stuff as well as a small locker for your valuables but you will need to bring a padlock.

If you prefer to stay a bit away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy the best view of the island, don’t hesitate to stay at The View Hostel. But be ready to climb a few steps to get to paradise. The owners and the whole staff are really friendly, and they offer bread, fruits, butter, and jam all day long. Not to mention mosquito repellent, sunscreen, and much more. To add, they change your bed sheet and tower every day! I highly recommend it and hope to come back soon!

The mattress was a little hard but not awful. Sadly the noise from the trashy Ibiza bar on the beach does travel, so you can hear the constant thumping of the bass, but there’s nothing they can do to prevent this. With earplugs it’s okay.

The view (shock) was amazing. Worth the little hike up! Staff are super friendly and attentive. They hung up my clothes and washed the sand off my shoes without me asking! And they always say goodbye when you leave for the day - very sweet. It was clean and showers were good. AC in the rooms is also really powerful. I wanted a chilled hostel and it delivered.

You can hear the music from town but if you are a light sleeper and want to be in bed early, bring earplugs.

Beautiful hostel with absolutely fantastic staff. The hostel is kept brilliantly clean. There are snacks and drinks available, (some free, some to purchase) as well as towels, snorkels etc to borrow. There is a book swap shelf. It is really easy to meet people here as a solo traveller. The hostel cat is really cute! The hill up to the hostel is worth it for the view. The bed has a good curtain but is quite hard.

Bed was not that comfortable. Hostel is located on a cliff and there is a steep part to climb, which can be a bit challenging with the backpack. Noise from the parties on the beach could still reach the hostel but with earplugs is not that bad. Staff doesnt really speak english and sometimes was hard to communicate.

The view is amazing. Rooms are quite big, 2 full bathrooms (toilet and shower) inside the room. Complementary coffee/tea and biscuits. Extremely clean.

No window, doors are into corridor which is widely open, so you have access to fresh air, but no window

It's very clean hostel. There is some food, coffee and tea available all day. You can also borrow or use some small stuff like waterproof bag, umbrella, lotion ...It is situated little bit far from center, but because there are very noisy nights in the center, you can have quite sleep in this place. Also it was not overcrowded, and people were split into 3 rooms.

The water from the shower was boiling hot but it was perfectly fine to wash with cold water !!

The property is indeed up the hill but it is definetly not bad walking up and the view is stunning :) It is super clean, very quiet and fully equiped. The rooms are huge and beds comfortable. They have fresh water, ear buds, soups, coffee, body products, books and so on for free. They cleaned the bed and replaced the towel.

Only 2 bathrooms for 10 ppl I don't think are enough. A bit noisy from the parties at the beach. Make sure you bring your earplugs with you.

If you like waking up with a stunning view from the balcony and rooms this is the place to go for. Rooms are spacious and clean. They give you a shower towel and a little breakfast is included but if you want a proper cappuccino you might wait until going down to town. And very important...water as soon as they welcome you cause there is a little bit of steep hill to walk to get to the hostel. Not all the beds have windows. You can be lucky or you could try asking for it if free.

It's nice, staff takes care of everything, they dry your wet clothes and make up your bed in the morning and keep the place very clean, it's quiet in the room even though it can be loud in the evening outside since there's beach party happening. It's close and walking distance from the pier and the pick up that they mention is a local guy coming to carry your bag while you walk behind him 😅 if you are okay with carrying your bag, no need for pick up. It's included in the price. There's no mototaxis or tuk tuks, so you walk. Oh, and they offer you Oreo. It's also included in the price.

Nothing at all. The only thing that might be inconvenient to some people is that it’s about a 15min walk from the main restaurant and bar area. This wasn’t an issue for us we didn’t mind.

This was our first hostel stay ever and we were very happy with it. The staff are amazing so so helpful and friendly. The whole place is always clean and the beds were clean and comfy. The view from the reception is amazing and so worth the walk.

The music from the centre is quite loud. But i feel like you have this everywhere on the Island. And it’s not the owners’ fault. They can’t do anything about it.

Nothing, it was great! Of course the hill takes some effort but it’s well worth it!

As the name suggestions the view is incredible. There are plenty of free amenities from tea, coffee, noodles, water all the way to sun cream, lotion and aloe Vera. The staff are so friendly. It’s also a great place to meet fellow travellers and socialise before heading out for the day / night

This hostel truly lives up to its name—The View! The views are stunning, making it a memorable stay. The beds were super comfy, and the rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean. The staff were incredibly sweet and kind, always ready to help. The hostel has a well-stocked pantry with coffee, tea, cup noodles, bread, and jams, which was a lovely touch. They also provide fresh towels daily, and you can even borrow dry bags and snorkeling gear, which is perfect for exploring Phi Phi's beautiful surroundings. Overall, an amazing place to stay with thoughtful amenities and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend!

The view is actually incredible, you will not want to leave the hostel. The staff is super nice without being intrusive. They fold your clothes and clean your bed every day even if you don’t ask for it… 🥹 and they provide snorkelling gear!

The lockers are quite small, so if you're a backpacker you need to leave your backpack on the floor. I think it would be a great improvement to have bigger lockers in the bedroom or maybe something like a under bed storage locker:)

The location is amazing! You can sit outside having breakfast or chatting with the other guests enjoying the view. My bed was really comfy and the blanket soooo soft! The staff is lovely, everyone is ready to help you there!

Nothing, maybe you hear to much the music from the club at the beach. But it is not the fault of the property.

The view is gorgeous. The staff really nice. They come to meet you at the pier and take your luggage until the hostel. You have free food all day along. And also you can borrow mask and snorkel to go to the beach.
