It is very basic. Everything is really old and not well maintained. The shared bathrooms were really dirty.

For this price you can’t expect much. I had a private room because I was staying one night in Chiang Rai, and therefore it was fine. Wouldn’t recommend staying longer. Location was perfect though.

Could have been due to the low season but the structure looks quite abandoned. Reception was empty most of the time. The room was clean, however, around the hostel you could see several spiders and other insects. Ants in the kitchen.

breakfast is toast & a banana if there are some left. The water fountain is Luke warm water- so bring bottled water with you! we weren’t bothered by it not being social, but if you are looking to make friends from the hostel you’ll be disappointed (however there is a street of bars an 8 min walk away that is great!)

great location- so central! staff are friendly, we had a private twin room. most comfortable bed we’ve had in Thailand so far. relatively clean- bathrooms could have a good going over but not bad compared to some hostels at all. Cheapest hostel we’ve had so far :)

It was OK, for the price I suppose we can't complain. Although check in was from 1pm our room wasn't ready until 3pm. It wasn't clear when booking that it would be a shared bathroom, luckily it wasn't busy! Our room was small with no window. Breakfast was help yourself to toast tea and coffee.

only what to be expected from a hostel. a super cheap stay.

property was clean but a bit outdated. showers were fine but the doors were very loud to open and close all through the night. hostel was generally noisy throughout the night, other customers I assume, which meant we didn’t sleep well but this is to be expected from a hostel. free coffee, toast and bananas in the morning which was great. the staff helped us get a really good deal on a motorbike and arranged an amazing tour for us (ask for Sammy, got to see everything in chaingrai).

I guess cheap and cheerful, a/c hadn’t been cleaned in years, no windows in the room. No atmosphere at all, and really struggled trying to ask for advice with things as the receptionist didn’t have good enough English to respond - although I’m aware I’m in Thailand, in a hostel it is super helpful. My door also didn’t lock.

The balcony’s views were gorgeous, good location !

There were people talking in the alley at 2 am (but I guess it's not the host's fault) and the room with fan and no windows was a little bit hot but I still could sleep well

You can get a very cheap single room. Free drinking water (hot and cold) and a simple breakfast.

Our room had no window (only to the corridor) and at night is was quite hot. Especially as there is no A/C and the ventilation is rotating which you cant switch off. Also the room was not very clean. There was a lot of dust under the bed and at the ventilation and also the window to the corridor.

The hosts are very friendly and helpful. You can rent a scooter with them which was absolutely unproblematic. You can reach the night bazar in a couple if minutes and also the busterminal which is quite handy. The bathroom was fine.

... THE SHEETS AND TOWEL HAD MANY VISIBLE STAINS!! I had to put my own towel on top of the pillow because I didn't want it to touch my face. The pillow was black and it looked like it was on the floor before it was put in my bed

Our hint - if you need to hire a scooter, I recommend a little walk around the corner rather than using the offer of the hostel. They have to call the owner to come, which takes 10 minutes. But what I did not really like is that they asked to retain my passport or leave a deposit of 3k baht. In the neighbourhood I found much a cheaper offer and without compromising my passport.

The hostel is situated close to the shops, food stalls and restaurants. Although the amenities in the room are basic, this was more than enough for us to enjoy our stay in Chiang Rai. If you hesitate whether or not to take a room with an AC, go for AC. You will not regret at night.

The room was without a window. It was clean inside the hostel but not at the place in front of it. Even as I asked for cleaning this, they didn't do that.

It's a very cheap hostel with private rooms, hot shower and WiFi but far from the center. Staff speaks a little bit English and is friendly.

It just gave weird vibes. Our door had what looked like a hole punched in it, and the walls were very thin so you could hear everything going on in the other rooms.
