We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ItalyThe only downside of this hotel is its location. Unfortunately, it’s super inconvenient, being in the middle of nowhere😅 Without a bike, it’s impossible to reach anything on foot. Even the 7/11 is a 25-minute walk away. So, if you’re not planning to rent a bike or car, this hotel is not the best option in terms of location. However, everything else was amazing!
It is an amazing, very calm hotel! The room was modern, clean, and very comfortable. We also had free breakfast every day, which was a very nice addition to our stay! It is perfect for families who rent a car or bikes.

Russiain some (adjacent) rooms there is very weak noise insulation (even quiet conversation is heard from behind the door), the water pressure in the shower is not always stable (it is either hotter or colder), there are no mirrors in the rooms (except in the bathroom), for some reason there is no iron in the whole hotel which is strange
Quiet and peaceful accommodation in Chalong. Suitable for those who have transport. The nearest beaches are Kata and Karon (approximately 20 minutes by car). There was always a parking space even when the hotel was fully booked. There's a security guard. From 8 in the morning starts free breakfast (coffee, toast with jam and corn flakes with milk), you can also heat your food in the microwave at any time in the lobby and eat it there. A washing machine is available for 60 baht. There is a small pool (but we didn't use it). You can't smoke inside only outside at selected point. The hotel is not new, but it is clear that the management is working to improve the comfort of the guests. During our stay, CCTV cameras were installed in public areas, and safes appeared in the rooms. The staff are friendly and helpful. The beds are large and comfortable, the rooms have a small refrigerator, kettle and TV, cleaning is done every day, they give 2 bottles of water for free.

BrazilThe was no hot water in the shower, I asked the staff to fix it and they didn’t. Another thing was they didn’t let us do a late check out since out flight was 10pm saying that they were booked out, we stayed in the pool until the time to leave for the airport and at least 4 rooms were empty, we asked then to let us take a shower and they didn’t let us.
The bed was outstanding, really comfy and huge.

Netherlands* The bathtub (which is the shower) was leaking water all over. Had to use many towels to stop the leaking of water. * Rooms were ok clean but the bathroom wasn’t that clean. Especially the ceilings. * Location is ok-ish, it’s kinda remote from the city, but quiet and chill, not really a downside * The were 5+ mosquitos in the room, which I had to kill before going to sleep.
* The beds and pillows were one of the best I’ve ever had in a hotel. Staff are super friendly.

RussiaThe shower booth needs a longer curtain - even when we tried showering carefully, there was still a lot of water on the floor after. One towel on the floor is not really a solution to this. This is, however, minor, and doesn't undo other good things about this place.
We had a great time staying here. Everything was clean and cozy, and the place itself is quiet and serene - perfect for unwinding after a long day of sightseeing. The room had all necessities, working AC and a cool view at the pool (which also was pristine). For 60 THB you can use a washing machine in the hallway (no dryer sadly). The hotel is in Chalong, which is not at a walking distance from all popular beaches, but you can always get a taxi or rent a bike/car to get around. Besides, there's much to see in the area anyways - Big Buddha, Tiger Park, etc. There's a bunch of cafes nearby, as well as drugstores and shops.

South AfricaProperty is located very close to Big Buddha however it is closed for now, this makes it isolated from everything else unless you hire a scooter but the road is dark at night and lots of turns. If you use Grab then it’s ok. It’s far from everything else. Smoking facility was located a short distance from room. No dining option but did provide toast and cereal. Our tv wasn’t working for 2 days.
We liked the space and having access directly to the pool, the area is clean and neat. Staff are very friendly and so helpful. We would recommend it for sure.

FinlandAt least some of the rooms (including mine) has thin door without sound insulation to connect it with another room and the noise from other room bothered me every day during my stay. Even speaking with normal volume goes theoretically the door, not to mention how shouting on a phone goes through that door.

SwitzerlandI find that the investment strategy here sadly didn't really work out. This is a very old 2 star hotel complex that has received a deep clean and maintenance (so it's newly opened and NOT new, like some reviews might suggest!). Even though they did a good job at cleaning up on the surface, you can tell and it feels like an old 2 star hotel. The bathrooms smelled terribly for example, showing that the core of the building (like sewage system) wasn't properly redone.
The staff was really friendly!

Netherlands- The bathroom has kind of a bad smell, when the light of the bathroom is on and the ventilation system is working. - Toilet doesn't flush very well, makes weird swirling sounds throughout the day. - Most rooms are connected to another room by a door. Very noisy, could hear other guests talking, coughing, hear their alarms go off multiple times early in the morning.
+ Kind and helpful staff + Clean room every day + Spacious room + Possibility of washing your clothes at the resort against payment + Hot water, even with high water pressure

AustraliaLack of primacy, unable to sit out on the patio and enjoy being next to the pool as always overcome with cigarette and weed by other occupants. Noise wasn't able to sleep rooms were not soundproof and workers loud when cleaning rooms at 8 in the morning. Only one bedside draw. Ended up leaving 4 days early.
The staff were very welcoming and friendly.

Australiawe liked the fact that we had a continental breakfast to start our morning and we were always greeted with a smile. the staff always made us feel welcomed. xaya was really central to all sites like Big Buddha, wat chalong, the bee farm, Lotus shopping centre was a 40min walk, tiger park was a five minute walk. Elephants, atv adventure was a 10-15 min grab or bolt trip. we ate at a restaurant called PM food and beverage that was a 10min walk away. so location for us was excellent. we used grab to order our Thai food which was excellent. food always arrived hot and with half an hour of ordering. Grab was always cheaper for us than Bolt when traveling from place to place.

ThailandThe location was not close to the beach but at least you could rent a motorbike and rode to the beach which would take around 10 minutes.
The pool and quiet environment were attractive. You could spend a whole day relaxing at the balcony and the pool. Also, at nighttime it was very quiet and had a good tight sleep. Staff were friendly.
