Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PolandNo signs outside the building making it difficult to find.
Location perfect but not easy to find. I got there but accident. I asked many people where is the hostel and finally found someone who knew where is that. Absolutely no signs outside the building- which has 17 floors. This is the only and big minus. The rest was perfect. Better than i expect.

IranThe closets in the rooms are small and I recommend that they be replaced with larger ones. They could put a wall shelf next to each bed to store small items. I think they should also put an independent light for each bed.
A clean hostel on the 17th floor of a newly built building. It has a relatively good location and is a 10-minute walk to Rudaki Street. The hostel owners are friendly and helpful and have good directions for getting around the city. It has clean and tidy bathrooms and toilets. It also has a large kitchen.

AustraliaThe sheets in our room hadn’t been cleaned when we arrived (we found a bra in one of the beds) which the guy was very apologetic about but the lady who came to change the sheets was quite rude and seemed a bit put out. We didn’t find the rest of the staff very friendly.
Great location, massive room and bathroom. The kitchen was big and very well equipped which made cooking very easy. It was easy to find with the directions provided on booking and the view from the 17th floor was awesome. The guy who checked us in and another lady we met at reception a few times were really lovely!

Czech RepublicWe paid extra for a room with a view, a triple room. We only got a room for two (we actually were only two, so not a big deal, but we paid for a bigger room anyway), no view. But it was a lovely room anyways. When we were leaving in the evening to go out, we asked the landlady if we need to know any information for late night or early morning coming back. She said it's OK and didn't give us any information. When we were coming back at 3am, the entrance door to the hostel was locked and we realized we didn't get a key to that door (even though we had asked about it before leaving). We kept knocking and ringing for more than 15 minutes, nobody came. Then other people came and they started to knock extremely loudly and a sleepy lady (a different one) came to unlock. She was very surprised we didn't have a key to that locked door. When we asked the landlady in the morning, she explained us that previous guests had lost the particular key and it was very clear she knew that when she was giving us the key and didn't tell us, even though we were asking regarding our intention of late night return. It was a very specific situation, of course it won't happen to everyone who stays in the hostel. I just wanted to share this experience, since it was our reason not to stay one more night there, even though the hostel itself was really cool. So advice for you: double check you are getting two keys (one for your room, one for the entrance door). ;-) Overall, I recommend the hostel.
The stay was of a high standard, it feels like a proper apartment if you stay in a room for two persons. A very nice style of the room, very large kitchen, bathroom next door.

PolandVery difficult to find the place. Building has no number, there's no sign, no nothing. I had to ask locals hanging out nearby who just happened to know where the hostel is. The internet would sometimes work slowly, sponges in the kitchen were old.
Big room with air conditioning. Fairly clean in the room. Good view from the terrace.

Room is huge, the whole place is very clean and the location is ideal, close to rudaki park and avenue! Wifi is great and they have a rooftop to chill on ;-) For me a no brainer, would go back there again next time in Dushanbe. United KingdomIt's hard to beat Ultra for its location, the quality of the rooms, clean bathrooms and the fully equipped kitchen. You'll need to read the post-booking email carefully to work out how to get in. The hostel is the 17th-storey duplex penthouse of the building fronted by the Sultanbey Turkish Restaurant. Go around the back of the building and use the speakerphone or call the reception. It's family run and especially handy if you need to do the passport registration/GBAO permit procedure as OVIR is a 1 minute walk away across the road. The owner is prepared to sort out the registration for you if you don't want the trouble - they charge a small mark-up over the official price but given the opaque pricing in the Ovir office if you go yourself, that might still be cheaper than DIY. One point to bear in mind is that this is more a homestay-guesthouse than a hostel and doesn't have the traveller vibe of somewhere like Green House Hostel since most people have private rooms - though there are some dorm beds and meeting other guests in the kitchen does happen... Overall it's hard to beat this place for value, quality private rooms if you're ok with sharing a bathroom.
