Everything - incredible place - beautiful people!! Bessa and the staff!! The effort Bessa has made with his business to make the most wonderful experience of staying in a home away from home! The beautiful rooms!! The gorgeous terraces on many levels! The fruit trees and flowers! The hammocks and common areas! I stayed a total of six nights and I didn’t want to leave!

The location was a little far from the city centre but there is Bolt which is cheap to the centre.

The hostel is excellent and the owner is very kind and goes out of his way to help. I felt very welcome. The facilities are good and the beds are comfortable. There are plenty of common areas and there is a wonderful garden out the back with fruit trees. The kitchen is well appointed.

It was a little hard to find as there is no sign outside...it just says number 10 and looks like a big house 🏠

Brilliant place to meet other travellers, really comfortable beds with duvets! Good kitchen and lovely garden and outside terrace :)

Hot water didn't work properly. One of the bathrooms was out of order so only one shared toilet for whole hostel. Staff didn't apologise or explain about this or about the big leak in the entrance and the related loud works that went on for a whole day

I was debating between this hostel and staying more in the city alone (because of the comments about it being “far” ) but I made the right choice. And after being in the Médina or the city for a bit - trust me you want some peace and quiet and it’s max 10-15 min walk depending PLUS you can use BOLT very efficiently there.

Clean cozy beds (not too hard not too soft) . Good lighting and spacious rooms. Individual table beside each bed with charging plug, light and locker. Use of kitchen plus free coffee. 2 terraces (good for yoga or smoking lol). High ceilings and amazing lounge area to meet people. Highly recommend.

A trash can was missing in the room; The building has high ceilings which makes it very reverberating at night. Especially during ramadan. But I am hypersensitive to sound.

The room was clean, the location is perfect, the property has a nice garden, the staff were very helpful and kind, good place to start as a backpacker! Thankyouu guys!

I am so happy to have stayed at Nomads Hostel Tunis, Tunisia. I felt truly like home. Not only time, I felt as I were with family or close friends there. There was such a good environment and good vibes in that house, specially during dinners (which they prepare with so much care and affection). I liked this place so much that I even extended my stay in the country to have more days to explore Tunisia and to keep on enjoying with other travellers and the hosts. Bessa, Ashraf, Shaima, Ela, to name a few, were so kind to me. This hostel is truly a pearl in Tunis! I got to stay in the dorm, which is greatly equipped, and I also had my own privacy in one of their beautifully decorated private rooms. Thank you very much, from the bottom, of my heart, dear friends at Nomads Hostel! I know where to head to, next time I visit Tunis, God willing! Best to you!

It was a really cool hostel and we really enjoyed our stay!! It has amazing hangout areas like the rooftop with a great view! Really clean and comfortable. Everyone was really kind and helpful and the iftar meal we enjoyed together was a cool experience and really nice and fun to hangout with everyone:)) if we come back to Tunisia we will definitely visit the hostel again!! Would recommend for everyone:)

Not related to the hostel, but I can't comprehend why certain guests fail to grasp the concept of a shared room and engage in disrespectful actions, like talking on the phone at 6 am inside the dorm.

Great hostel with well-designed spacious gardens, common rooms, a rooftop, and a kitchen. It's exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The highlight, however, is the staff – intelligent Tunisian people with whom you can engage in deel conversations about anything. They willingly provide travel tips and check on you regularly. If you're visiting Tunisia for its people and culture, don't miss a stay here, they'll make you want to come back!

There is only one bathroom with shower. Not well located for using public transports. In my second stay I didn't have a locker to lock my baggage in.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. All the hostel is super clean! It is near the airport (taking a taxi) but a bit far from the city center.

While it is located close to the airport, it is a bit far from the downtown area where all the sights are (~1 hour walk).

Very friendly and accommodating staff who were kind enough to let me check in quite late when I arrived on an evening flight. Clean facilities and well-equipped kitchen. Nice common area where everyone can gather and talk amongst each other, making it easy to meet fellow travelers.

I struggled a bit to get decent wifi signal from the triple room upstairs. A little bit expensive for Tunis but the staff and friendly chill vibe of the property more than make up for it

The girl working at the front desk was very polite and helpful, they speak great english, french and heard them talking what I think is german, so staff wise all is good. The beds are clean and very comfortable, the property has 1 and 1/2 bathroom/ shower, both of which are very clean. Good wifi in almost everywhere in the property, good value for first time travellers in Tunisia since it's a ten minutes drive from the airport

Please put a reminder on the wall in the room to return the room key, along with the reminder to turn off the light! I feel bad about forgetting to return it.

I appreciate the opportunity to chat with the young people from different countries! We chatted for 4 hours with wonderful young people from Tunisia, Libya, Egypt and China, totally about 6 or 7 people. So glad to hear what they talked about their countries, people, economics, strength and problems, and their views of the world situation... It was very open-minded and friendly, happy and serious chats. I have been looking forward to stay in hostel for this kind of opportunities. I am a 73 years old Taiwanese grandmother living in USA for 50 years, this is my last day with my tour group in Tunisia, I need to stay overnight in order to catch my flight next day. How precious is this encounter with young people from different countries! Thank you all!
