Our stay at this Amazing hotel exceed our expectations. No worlds can explain the wonderful and amazing staff in the reception and there extreme kidness, even the cleaning ladies and there beautiful smile. You couldn't pay me to find a flaw with this hotel lol

Ran out of the word limit writing my first review for this exceptional hotel! My wife and I booked three rooms at this hotel: one for us, and two for our mothers and sisters who were visiting Istanbul for the first time. We were very concerned about their stay (as the elderly are less flexible and our sisters are way pickier than us lol) and it took us days of thorough research before we made a pick. We didn't want a hotel with a fancy pool or anything, just a quiet, clean place to rest our heads at night and head out in the morning. Ada Karakoy is an excellent hotel! Situated in a flat area where you don't have to face steep inclines. The ferry port, bus stations, tram, funicular to Isteklal/Pera are all a 2 min walk. There's a money exchange right there and all sorts of eateries, sweets, pubs, bars, are a short walk. The hotel itself is peaceful and you'll have no trouble sleeping. Their beds are also super comfy. I can't stress enough how great the location is. There's free coffee with an awesome view on the 6th floor. The staff are all sweethearts! The Hotel Manager Mr. Onur is super helpful and very hands-on, so is everyone else at the front desk. They are very well coordinated, and anything you need is provided immediately. They upgraded the room for my mother and sister for free, and you can book tours from the front desk. The cleaning staff is very friendly and thorough. Your belongings are safe in your room. All in all, we never have to look for any other hotel again for any future visit to Istanbul. Like I mentioned, we were traveling with our families and had to be extra particular about things and Ada Karakoy was everything we could have hoped for, providing great value for money. It is very difficult picking a hotel in another country when all you have are online reviews to go by, but trust me when I say that you need to look no further than this place.

This is was our first Istanbul visit, and all was perfectly arranged. We got luck with the hotel facilities, cause the location, interior, a high professionalism and kindness of the team made our stay exceptional awesome. The location is perfect, close to the pier, the station of tramway and metro, just outside of the hotel, there is many choices of restaurants. The floor of room is very clean. The bed is comfortable. The staff is offering the services exactly what we need.

The terrasse on the roof is window-fenced and has no service (except for coffee-mashine). So there is no use of it.

Actually nothing, the hotel looks a little old but this is not a problem.

The location of the hotel is super excellent because it's close to almost everything and it's central, there're many restaurants and shops in the area, the room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom was clean, housekeeping was also excellent, the other things are the roof, there's a roof with a fantastic view at the 6th floor, and they allow you to get food from outside of the hotel, this was really amazing!

No breakfast which was supposed to be included. No windows for a room that was supposed to be 'DELUXE' with street view!!! If ironing is needed then the guest may use it in main hotel lobby!!! Computer monitor hung on wall is too small to be called TV! Damaged wall that has been covered with tape.

The shower in our room (402) had a flat surface (or nearly flat) so the water pooled on the ground after usage. There was no plate to put the bar of soap after washing your hands. The entrance ceiling light was flickering.

The noise levels were not too impactful. Internally, we could hear the corridor quite clearly but externally it was pretty much just the call to prayer and the bin trucks that we could hear. If you have the air-conditioning on you won't hear much else. The double-bed (two singles zipped together) was comfortable though I wish the blanket was a tiny bit longer. There is a terrace on the 6th floor which has great views and is available for all guests to enjoy and bring their own drinks & food. The staff in this hotel are lovely and friendly.

I think despite all the care the place puts in offering a non smoking environment, which is commendable, some customers may have smoked in the room. There was a faint smell of smoke and one bedsheet had a cigarette whole.
