Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

MalaysiaStayed for 2 nights at Argos as a treat and it was worth the stay. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Rooms were spacious and well equipped with heater/ac. A heated towel rack is provided in the bathroom which is appreciated during the winter. Umbrellas are also provided in the room. I loved that the hotel provided a good hair dryer. The shower had good water pressure and temperature. The bed was comfortable. Turn down service is provided as well with a hot water bottle, slippers and a snack. The hotel is located with picturesque views of pigeon valley below and walking distance to the castle just behind (there is also a golf buggy service which you can take from the reception that drops you off at the entrance of the castle). You can get a nice view of the hot air balloons from the car park in the morning. We tried both restaurants at the hotel. Food and service were excellent. The produce used for the restaurants are farmed from the valley below the rooms and they also have their own vineyard and selection of wines. The breakfast spread was huge!!! The hotel tour at 5pm was informative and well organised. There is also a beautiful spa and a gym room on the property. My only regret is not bringing along my swimsuit to use the heated swimming pool. We had an amazing stay at Argos and highly recommend it just for the great service from the staff and overall experience.

The Argos in Capadoccia is a unique hotel in the sense that is a number of many buildings scattered in the village but connected and that it is quite charming. The hotel has a lot of original houses and very old places (like a chapel, a cellar, a museum, etc). The room was a cave, with a fireplace. Service was amazing, everyone was super kind. The SPA offered all type of treatments, an indoor pool, etc. Views from different points of the hotel were so beatiful.

United StatesWe were not able to regulate the temperature in our room. The dial on the radiator near the bed was broken and we could not turn it down or off. We stopped by the reception twice to see if something could be be done and were told that the heat could be turned off entirely but that left the bathroom chilly. We opened the window near the bed at night which helped but still left sleeping a bit hot.
The size, decoration and cleanliness of the room was outstanding. The design was unique and really fit the area. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful and the staff very accommodating and friendly.

United KingdomI would have liked a tv in my bedroom but it did me good not to have one.
Location is stunning. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. The reception/concierge arranged a guide for us at very short notice which we really appreciated. We also changed our dates at very short notice and they were able to accommodate us....which was so kind of them. The staff are exceptional!!!

A really stunning and unique hotel. We had a beautiful cosy room with a balcony and our own staircase to the entrance with wonderful views across the valley. The hotel is located in a quiet part of the area - with lots of history (including Uchisar castle) and places to eat (although we mainly used the lovely hotel restaurants) but outside of the busy main tourist centre. The staff were really lovely and if we weren’t in an amazing historical area - it would have been very easy to just stay at the hotel using the facilities (the spa is gorgeous) and enjoying the food!

The room was absolutely tranquil, clean and beautiful. Had a terrace next to it where you can sit and enjoy the weather with a view of the valley in front of you. Super nice ambience. A bonus was being able to stargaze at night in the terrace. phenomenal experience. The staff were beyond polite and helpful and were a main reason for our good stay. They make you feel like family and there is nothing that they will not assist you with. always available and always helping. Special thanks to Berke and Ozgur for helping make our stay this good.

The small details in this hotel are impressive - from the quality of coffee, to the music stations around.
