Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Lovely host and beautiful scenery makes this the perfect stay on the Aegean sea when visiting Turkey. Rather stay here than Izmir city center.

The room did seem a little stuffy (it was hot when we arrived) and could have been a little cleaner. Note: The rooms don't directly face the ocean, rather you get a side view of the ocean
A great apart-hotel, very close (walking distance) to the marina, old city and many restaurants. The room itself is large and comfortable with everything you'd get in an apartment + Bonus slippers and some shampoo was in the room The hosts are also really friendly and accomodating people who made us feel right at home

No toiletries in the apartment. Lack of terrace or balcony.

Washing machines are on the ground floor but always available. Shared cozy terrace in front of the entrance.
Very cozy apartment hotel. Wonderful location on the edge of the marina, near a small beach, playground, cafe, promenade. Five minutes walk to the fortress. The rooms are very clean, there is a kitchen, a good view of the marina. The managers are very friendly and always ready to help. There is always someone at the reception, so you feel very safe and welcome. WiFi is great.

Excellent apartment in great location along Agean sea coast. Clean and modern. All modern equipments fitted in apartment and a good kitchen. Caretaker was very friendly , responsive and helpful. Parking available close to apartment

stools were unstable in the kitchen, but it wasn’t a problem cause we used a sofa and armchair to sit around the dining table
The staff was very hospitable and ready to help in any way👍🏽 we liked the kitchen equipment, the cleanliness of the property , the design and overall the atmosphere of calmness here ✨ ask for higher floor to get the bay view 🙏🏽

Everything was excellent and enjoyable for us, the only thing we might suggest is to change the lights from bright white to a warm yellow. Some people may enjoy it but we always prefer the feeling of yellow lighting, since white is a bit blinding to the eyes. Otherwise, we are extremely happy with our stay.
This apartment hotel is excellent, in a wonderful location and with very nice facilities. We were able to cook nice meals in their quality kitchen, and we slept very well there. Üzkan, who is the man working at reception, was incredibly helpful and generous. Before we left, we shared some time with him and had a nice talk whilst getting to know him. He also recommended us some other places to visit during our travels. When we arrived, it was very late at night, but the team still managed to wake up and let us in so we could get some much needed rest. Highly recommended.

There were constructions going on in the building next to us but it was not too bad, the shower was a bit noisy but overal a great stay.
Beautiful modern room with just the things that were required. Lovely balcony, very friendly hostess. The 3rd bed was made for our son, very clean
