Personal was very friendly and explained all stuff around and where I need to go. They changed my money in a good course easily and brought just to reception. Bed was super comfortable and location was so near to everything. Price for that was especially reasonable and I would recommend this place. Totally!

Nice hotel in an amazing location. The hotel is a 3 minutes walk from Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. Topkapi Palace is just up the road. No breakfast available but plenty of restaurants serving breakfast near the hotel. We had a very big room with 2 double beds and 1 single bed, perfect for our family. The staff were always ready to help and very friendly.

the hotel got a few building. Our room is separated with the reception building making it hard for us to request for something like towels or hair dryer. No telephone in the room to contact the reception. Due to its best location,it’s quite jammed in the area aduring day time so need to arrange the airport transfer at least 4-5 hours before departure.

the room is spacious and clean. the location is very good.Near with hagia sophia n blue mosque. walling distance to the sultanahmet station. our room is at the highest level of the building but the staff will bring the bags during check in and check out.

good location, you can actually see from the bed Aya Sofia. rooms are not spacious, but you really don’t need it, since you walk away early in the morning and come back late at night.

The stay at the hotel was great! Staff was very caring and we even befriended the owners. If you need help they are always available to help you on your trip to this wonderful city. Room was super clean when we arrived and we could always call the cleaning service included in the price!

Except for Dan the rest of the staff are not very nice. They only clean the room and give you toilet paper when you ask for. And even after reclamation they kept the same way till the last day. We asked to change the double bed with single beds since the first day of our reservation and reminded them one week before coming. However, they did not do it and said that they only do it when we remind them exactly 4 days before.

The location is perfect, very close to Hagia Sofia and Sultanahmet mosque and all the important monuments of Istanbul and also to transportation. Walking in the area at anytime is safe and awesome. It is full with tourists and calm at the same time. The room is new and clean. The beds are comfortable. The staff carry all your baggage at the arrival and at the departure. Dan is very nice and helpful.

Location is great for walking to main sites. Comfortable beds. 2 Staff members walked 10 minutes to get us when taxi dropped us off at ETH 1 instead of 2.

Everything was perfect

Our stay at the Theodora Empress Hotel II was one to never forget. From the moment we got there, we were welcomed with warmth and professionalism. The rooms are spotless and really central to all the main sites. Restaurants are just a stone throw away. The roads are not steep, and therefore suitable for older people as well. Anything we needed could be organized with amazing efficiency. We planned a small wedding with our families, including kids and the manager and staff were beyond great and patient with the kids. Anything you need, just ask and they can arrange it.  Even a surprise bridal shower! I highly recommend this place if you're coming to Istanbul.

My staying was really nice. The owners are trying everyday with small changes to upgrade the facilities and they are doing a good job. Nice room, clean, with a small fridge for you to use. It's located near the main tourist spots of the city, so it is really convenient, to avoid taking taxis or using transportation. If you also like walking, as I do, you can manage go around a really big part of the town center.

A stones throw away from the main mosques and tourist place but also located on a quiet street you cannot go wrong with it being so close. Amazing staff especially Monty who will definitely put a smile on your face.

Nothing, everything was fine. The stairs are very narrow, there is no elevator. But the staff took our luggage to our room, so it wasn't an issue for us. Mentioning the stairs here, so others reading the review know about it. Personally we had no issues. Not a con per se, just a suggestion....if there can be rooftop access, it will make for a lovely spot to just sit back, relax, sip some tea, and enjoy the view.

We absolutely loved our stay. The bed was comfortable, and the view from our room was absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to the stunning view of the Bosphorus in all it's glory was a sight to behold. The room is small and quaint, but has all the basics like fridge, kettle, wifi. The staff was nice and friendly. Fateh aka Monty was helpful, and had good English language skills, which made it easy to talk and discuss. We met three other staff members as well, and all of them were nice, professional, and friendly. The hotel itself is barely 5 minutes walk from Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, and Topkapi Museum. And roughly 10 minutes walk from the nearest tram station. The room and bathroom was clean. I would recommend this hotel, and if we visit Istanbul again, would definitely opt for it again.

There is nothing I didn’t like; I just wish there was a long mirror in the room and one or two more side tables since we were 5 in the room.

It’s 3 min on foot from the Blue Mosque, the neighborhood is calm and lovely, the building is nice and neat, the host is friendly and always available, the place was very clean and it had air conditioning which was a mercy during the heat :)
