Poor communication prior to arriving. Having to pay 75% of the bill in cash due to “covid” - nonsense. This was inconvenient for me. My messages sent to the hotel were answered after I had actually booked in - this was poor.

Location of the hotel - in the old city and a stones throw from the Blue Mosque etc..The rooms were located in a historic building with modern touches.

Nothing to do with the hotel, but there was always some harassment walking along the street outside.

Location is excellent with just a short stroll to the main tourist attractions of the Haggia Sophia and The Blue Mosque. There are plenty of restaurants in the vicinity but I would urge caution and accept only recommendations from the hotel to avoid an upset stomach. There is a handy corner-shop next door for drinks and snacks.

The people. The staff was extremely hospitable and caring - from the door man (Ramazzan), the cleaning crew, the dining staff, to the manager (Muhammad) 1 they were extremely helpful and hospitable! The room was comfortable and the Hamman bathroom was our fave!

Location with view of blue mosque from our balcony was spectacular. Facilities and staff were fantastic, breakfast on the top floor with amazing views and an incredible array of foods was just perfect. We enjoyed our few days very much and hope to visit again, thank you!

There is no such thing!

This is the most comfortable hotel in Istanbul. The food, the room with a hammam, the location, the staff - everything is fine here! We were greeted and escorted off like family! Thank you very much to the hotel staff for our stay!

It's a very nice hotel, however I would have loved to know the below details before booking: - For people with reduced mobility, the hotel doesn't have a lift to reach the rooms, so be ready to use the stairs. - The shower was inside the hamam without proper isolation, so after taking a shower the whole place gets wet including the toilet. - It's also worth mentioning that the hotel takes 75% of the payment in cash, luckily they were flexible enough to give us the room and we brought the cash later.

Bathroom shower area (corners of the shower) needs more cleaning as it appears to have some black dots in the grout. We also found this in two other hotels in Istanbul and Cappadocia so maybe a general thing rather than this hotel.

In close proximity to the sea, food options/ restaurants, touristy spots. Hotel room is well-lit, clean, provided welcome water, Turkish delight, baklavas, cookies as welcome gifts. Hotel breakfast buffet was amazing with SO MANY choices of bread, dessert and meat. Check in staff is friendly and welcoming. There is no lift to our hotel room but we travelled light so it wasn’t an issue for us and the staff offered to take our belongings up.

We got the family room on the third floor so the steps were a little challenging for elderly members as there’s no lift to the guest rooms. There is however a lift available to the restaurant for breakfast.

What a cute property in a fantastic location! The best breakfast we had on our holiday to Turkey! The view of the Blue Mosque from the breakfast area and terrace is lovely, good to enjoy a cup of coffee. Very sweet and helpful manager and staff at the reception as well as the restaurant. A short walking distance from all the major attractions on the list of first time travellers to Istanbul. Multiple shops, restaurants and bars around. Loved the hotel and would highly recommend it to everyone, especially those visiting Turkey for the first time.

Very minor but they can organize breakfast buffet better. The food is also great by the way but just a little messy for me.

I like the location of the property and the staff. So close to the mosque and to the nice shops. The terrace gives you a magnificent night view of the Blue Mosque. The staff were so nice and hospitable. They have a free snacks allocated for guests which is really such a great gesture. Ramazan and others were really a gem of this place. Another thing that caught my eye is the interior of the room we were in. The marble mosaic and the quality of the furnitures are topnotch.
