Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Location was perfect with easy, quick access to key sites - Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, and more. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Hotel was very clean and rooms were well equipped and comfortable for a family of 4. Loved having our own hamam in our hotel room. Breakfast was included and always fresh and delicious! Restaurant next door was delicious. I hope we have the chance to visit Istanbul again and would definitely stay at Best Point Hotel again.

Great location. 5 mins by foot from blue mosque. Hearty breakfast and nice view from the canteen. Little welcome snacks. Will definitely stay again if travel back.

We loved this hotel even though we just stayed one night. I hope we can come back for a linger stay. We had a room with hammam on the ground floor so no steps. The mattress was comfortable . We really enjoyed breakfast on the roof - nice variety of food and good views. The hammam was wonderful after a day of walking - so relaxing. The location was very convenient but best of all was the staff, so kind and helpful, and always giving us little goodies like tea and coffee and Turkish delight.

We had the brilliant top floor apartment with shower/hammam and balcony in the annex right next door to the hotel. Fantastic location a couple of hundred metres from Sultanahmet (with a nice view of the done and minarets) and Hagia Sofia, surrounded by shops and restaurants and close to the waterfront outside the old walls. The kitchenette is very small but everything works fine. The staff were friendly and efficient (including giving us breakfast and early access to the room after an early morning arrival) and the cleaners did a great job daily.

As this was our family (of 3)first trip to Istanbul, Mustafa at the front desk, was exceptional. He is one that would go out of their way to help you when in need. His service quality and willingness to share and help within his capabilities is top-notched. This is paired with the fantastic hotel stay (room with hamman) where beds are really comfortable and the room offers all that you need. Only thing is the room is on a separate building from the main hotel where breakfast is served which can be easily overlooked given the overall experience. Hotel is situated amongst very good restaurants. Almost a perfect score for us and would highly recommend anyone to give it a try. Thanks Mustafa for all that you did to make it a memorable visit for my family. All the best to you. Cheers.

FranceThe ventilation from the kitchen ends on the same level as the balcony. So, in the morning you feel the smell of the food which you will eat soon) Also the ventilation produces a lot of noice till afternoon. If you plan to spend the first part of the day in the hotel the room with the balcony is possibly not what you need.
Everything was great: location, staff, facilities. In this hotel we particualry loved brekfasts on the rooftop with amazing views and the room with the balcony. The balcony was equipped with a sofa, chairs, a table and was a nice place to gather together with the family after the day and enjoy the direct view to the mosque.
