Some other staff members aren't quite as friendly as Bercan. You will see a completely different vibe during the day as you will in the evenings.

The kitchen was well equipped with pots, pans, microwave, and gas cookers, although it was lacking in cutlery Bercan (the night receptionist) really makes this place what it is. I stayed there for two weeks and it is evident how much he enjoys his job. Super welcoming to everyone, and has a genuine desire to help people.

The WC was not bad, but not quite clean, though they kept the supplies in abundance (like shampoo, shower gel and etc.)

The service is really really good. The 2 main guys at reception always had a great disposition and excelent service. They have a kitchen and a refrigerator which was wonderful for me and the atmosphere at the inn is like a big family which made my stay very pleasant.

Unfortunately I didn’t feel super welcomed by staff and in my experience there was really no atmosphere/socializing.

Nice, clean facilities and a pretty good location, though it’s at least 40 minutes walking to most of the major sites like the ataturk monument and Anatolian museum. Nice outdoor area to hangout, curtains on the beds are a bonus, and kitchen you can use.

Due to some double booking, I ended up having to move rooms and I ended up staying in 3 rooms in 5 nights which was a bit inconvenient as the room service wanted me out of my room even though my next one wasn't ready yet. That was a bit annoying.

It's a decent hostel with good facilities. They even had an oven which is unusual in a hostel. Good wifi, clean and modern rooms.

The bed wasn't and pillow wasn't clean. The room was beside the reception and there were conversation noise in the room throughout evening.

Very wet double rooms... My bag was completly wet after night in this hostel. Wet were also beds in this room. Very uncomfotable. Dirty showers.

The toilets need serious maintenance. The room was hot, they should get fans if they can't afford A/C. The matress in the single room is old, tired and needs to be replaced. The kitchen had like 2 spoons and 1 knife and we struggled to turn on the gas cooker (they can't even replace a cheap lighter). They never cleaned my room for 5 consecutive days.

The location is right in the heart of the city.

At first I got assigned an unmade bed, but could move on to a freshly made one. The unmade bed, however, stayed yucky for my entire stay. Otherwise: No complaints at all. :)

I only spent two nights in Ankara, but this hostel enabled me to make the best of it. It's close to almost everything one might want to see in Ankara and if you're in the mood and can take some climbs you can even do it all by foot. The hostel itself is nice and has everything you could ask for. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. I was in a bit of a hurry, so I couldn't get into much contact with others, but whoever I met seemed to be friendly and cheerful. That's also true for my two roommates who were a lot of fun to have around. :)

Regular cleaning wont do Harm, showerhead was broken but that could be temporary, the social vibe is missing completely to my opinion. The hostel needs a decent modification for that.

The hostel wasn't a very social place when I was there. Also, the facilities are quite rough. In general, the entire place could use some attention.

The location of the hostel is great, with public transportation all around and the lively streets of Kizilay just around the corner. The value for money is pretty good as well.

The biggest problem was one employee—spiteful and unfriendly—who made me feel uncomfortable in a place I was paying to be in. Every interaction with him ended with him doing something just to annoy me. His go-to response was always a dismissive “because no,” usually accompanied by a smug smile that made it clear he had no intention of actually solving or handling anything.

The only that cheap hostel in this area. And menager was amazing guy
