The fact that the hotel does not have its own electric vehicle charging station is a major shortcoming.

The team members are very helpful and have great approaches. The rooms are clean and the location is great.

First time I ever got charged for coffee capsules in the room. It’s really odd that they were made part of the minibar. We ordered pasta late at night, and it was the first fettuccine alfredo we had that came without creamy sauce. Just dry pasta. No condiments came with the schnitzel either, except some jam you'd expect for breakfast. We haven't tried their in-room sushi menu, but we did go to the restaurant that provides it, sushi barba, and it was the best sushi we had in a long time. Given that it's a relatively new hotel and it was off-season, we expect all this to improve.

The location, the view, amenities and the staff were all so nice. Seriously, there is no better location than this. You're essentially right next to a huge mall and all sorts of stores, plus the subway and bus station to go anywhere in the city centre. The staff were so helpful and friendly, they all spoke great English as expected in Izmir. The view was so good from the room as well! Definitely our new favourite stay when we're in the city.

Lack of a designated car park in a 5 star hotel is unacceptable in particular when we spent more than 2hours being trapped inside the shopping mall car park in which the hotel doesn’t hold any reserved lot (see the welcome disaster we had to suffer on our arrival due to a local football game so they said)

The service is not friendly or welcoming or nice in any way. Should you want anything, you have to call many times before they even answer and then many-many times more to keep reminding the staff to do what you asked. There is another real struggle in this hotel - it’s the one for drinking water. They put 2 small bottles in the room, which is obviously not enough for 2 adults. If you ask for more water, they reply ‘you already consumed your daily water’. Such a nonsense! Although we stayed there in low season and it was almost empty, the hotel was obviously understaffed an d the rest of the staff didn’t seem eager to do the job right. The breakfast was also a disaster. If you want to eat healthy, you can hardly find anything apart from some green salad. So we ended up buying avocados from the mall and bringing them to the breakfast place asking to cut them for us (which also took ages of course). Does any of this sound like a 5 star hotel?

Honestly? Nothing. It was fabulous. A bit weird not having a door on the bathroom, but doors to the shower and toilet made it just fine.

So very comfortable! And staff was so kind when I was ill. Room is large, bed is incredibly comfortable(and I should know, I don’t think I left it for two days). The staff was amazing in the hotel, in the spa, and in the restaurant. While hopefully no one else gets ill on their trip, if they do, you want to end up here. As expected, the services were top notch: express laundry returned everything in only a few hours, they came to refresh the room whenever we called for things, they extended our stay three separate times. The spa, my husband reports, is amazing. Our room overlooked the bay, with a lovely view of Izmir from the balcony, as well.

You could hear the rooms next door at times.

This hotel offered many options for activities on the property. They have a functional spa, sauna, pool, and fitness room. The property is connected to the mall which was very convenient for shopping and eating. The room I stayed in had a pretty view of the sunrise and sunset on the balcony. The staff was very attentive, helpful, and friendly. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

The breakfast was not on the top and we had to ask staff to refill the juices, they closed breakfast earlier than usual, and the pool was closed last day we wanted to use it because of technical issues.

It was sparkling clean, great location, easy access to İstinye park which is one of the best shopping areas in Izmir
