ItalyWe spent 2 nights at Ikarus with our two teens. The view from the terrace is stunning exactly as you see from the photo, and there is a further terrace on the roof for relaxing and view stars. Rooms are very spacious and carefully provided with very nice furnishings, and matress very comfortable. Air conditioned is a little bit noisy, but it is rare using it, we was there with 38 degrees that is not usual in August in Capadokia. Very good breakfast, home made with fresh ingredients. We suggest this location to all ones that love quiteness and Panoramas!

Excellent location right next to Uchisar castle. great view from the terrace, particularly for sunset. note that you wouldn’t be able to see hot air balloons/goreme from the terrace if that’s important to you - however it’s a 2 min walk to a great view point by the castle Hilal was an excellent host, really went above and beyond to give us advice and help us organise a spa visit. the hot air balloon trip we booked through the hotel was perfect, with a responsible team and great views.

The perfect boutique hotel in Cappadocia. Hilal our host, was always ahead of all our needs, organizing from our amazing ballon ride to the wine and cheese drinks at sunset. Great location, fantastic host and overall unforgettable experience. I would highly recommend the Ikarus.

TurkeyThe house could be perfect during the summer as walls are keeping cold but as we were there in April the floor would have required some more carpets as it was too cold to step on it. Also the bathroom was cold.
Amazing view from terrace to the castle and on early morning to observe balloons and sunset. All hotel was very tastefully decorated. Breakfast was delicious and the hostess very friendly and helpful and surprised us one evening with late evening tea and baklava, exactly what we needed!
