I think this is one of the best options for families coming to istanbul. Investist has a lot of sport activities for adult and children and the staff is very accommodating and friendly.

It should be mentioned that the hotel just opened because we came to do the activities; climbing, gymnastics, gym, swimming but we didn’t get to do any of these. The climbing area was not “under renovation” as said, it was being built. You can’t visit the gym without a trainer due to safety reasons and gymnastics was out of our reach because there wasn’t a trainer available. Even though the room was great and clean, the shower water was either boiling or freezing cold.

Lovely, clean and new rooms and all over. Very nice and polite staff.

Inventist hotel is a very beautiful, affordable and most of all welcoming hotel. The location is great but what makes this hotel the best are its staff members. They were so loving and caring, making sure we were very comfortable and all our needs were met. This hotel is one of a kind in Istanbul having sports facilities, tennis, squash, sports climbing, table tennis, gymnasium, athletic performance, fitness, basketball, voleyball, olympic swimming pool, balet dance.. You can make sports with personal trainers. You can walk in the forest. There are so many shopping malls close by which I did some shopping for my family. Hotel has a secure parking for 10 euros/night. I do highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is one of a kind. It has a sports academy including tennis, basketball, volleyball, squash, gymnastic center, sports climbing wall, fitness, ballet dance academy, olympic swimming pool, table tennis and many more sports. Hotel and a big Sports Academy with personal trainers makes it one of a kind. We had an incredibly great time at Inventist Hotel. The hotel is very good located in the city center but in a silent forest, also very close to shopping malls and hospitals. The breakfast is delicious and very rich, even late in the evening you get in the hotel's own restaurant something very tasty to eat. The hotel is brand new. The rooms are chic and very clean! The whole team was very friendly and accommodating. We have already booked my next stay in this hotel and will stay more next time... :)

If you think you want to complement your city trip to Istanbul with sports in this hotel, think again. On paper, it takes 35 min to Istanbul center by taxi for about 15 dollars. In reality however, you will be stuck in traffic and it can take about an hour easily. The hotel is really far off. Which would be okay if you could at least do all the activities offered, but no: Swimming, not possible on weekends (like most things). You want to come here on a weekend trip or holiday? Forget about it, the staff takes holidays too. On weekdays you can only swim from 10 am - 5 pm. The normal gym is open from 9:30 to 20:30 every day. But when we wanted to go on the 31.12 or 01.01 it is closed all day. Why??? Yoga classes or facility not available yet. Table tennis not available yet. Tennis also closed, an instructor needs to be there because they couldn't lend the rackets themselves, so we also did not do that. Despite all fields just being there with no one playing any of the days. Climbing only from 4-7 pm on weekends or from 1-4:30 / 7 pm on weekdays: Limited instructors. Fencing, we I had no chance to get a lesson in the 5 days we were there. My girlfriend did later on and really enjoyed it! Gymnastics or trampoline, not possible for adults. Only kids can book lessons. I did trampoline regularly for about a year and it is not just for kids, it is a demanding and fun sport requiring a lot of core stability. But nop, can't do it here. Btw, if you think you get any information when you arrive like a nice brochure with all the times and options available to you: no. You have to ask each question individually using Google translate because the academy staff does not speak English which sucks up a lot of your time. No Netflix on the TV. It supports smart apps but they did not have Netflix installed. For paying your nights at the hotel they charge you an extra 4.25 % credit card fee which they do not tell you about. So pay in advance on booking.

Take this review with a grain of salt since the hotel is still new and things will very well change in a year or even a couple of months from now. But for the short term future this should be accurate: Pros: Amazing food, really tasty restaurant Clean rooms Comfortable bed The staff is friendly and trying New sport facilities Squash was possible to play flexibly and nicely. However: The purpose of this hotel is not to cater to amateur hotel guests wanting to enjoy their sports it is more target at teams and clubs going here. For private guests (as of now) it is simply an at best average hotel next to a sports facility. Even the hotel is outside of the sports facility and restaurant. It is not well incorporated. And just feels like an add on for teams or sport clubs that come here. We booked the hotel over new years for a sporty recreation, since this is what the hotel tries to to sell you online, an amazing offer of various activities. However, there are numerous stones in your way that seriously need to be ironed out, let me explain:

There was nothing to do here. They have a lot of sports activities but they don’t let us use anything! The gym was open until 4pm but you have to book one day in advance…its ridiculous. Spa is working until 6pm so if you want to relax in the late evening you can’t. When went to spa the water was very cold! Staff in the restaurant was very lovely but the breakfast was the same every single day! We were so tired to eat the same food every day! The lady on sport academy was very rude. Will never recomend this hotel to anyone! So unhappy!

The room was very pretty and clean and waiters in the restaurant were very lovely.

Gym is only open from 10-18 thats when people work or visit the down. It should be open for guests a lot longer. I do not think its a 5 star hotel:( i really liked one of the waiters service. A young boy, around 18-20. He smiles, greets and attends your needs. He knew from day 2 that i drink my coffee with sweetener, so he brought it automatically. Kudos to him. But it did not make up the rest. Gym issue, boring breakfast, the distance was not an issue. The reason why i chose this hotel is because i fo 3hour sport every day. 1 hour in the morning, 2 in the evening. I could not do a single day….cleanliness was really good.

Breakfast was nice, but boring. There should be more options. I ate the same thing each day.
