We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The staff were particularly friendly and helpful, successfully guiding our group through various challenges. Rooms were nice and quite spacious. Location was excellent in the center of Ankara.

United StatesWe had a terrible experience. I reserved a large room and they gave us a small room and charged us for the larger room. We also had a freak incident for which I am terrified and am still shaking. I asked them to get us a Taxi to the airport. They called a car which was not marked as a Taxi and was an unmarked white car. After we sat in the car, we realized that both doors at the back seat were locked from the inside and would not open. Before the car started to move, I tried to open the back window and right when I was opening the window, the driver locked the window, I had to reach my had out and open the door from the outside so that I can jump out of the car. I believe they were trying to kidnap us. I can't believe I am my mom (two women) just skipped a kidnapping in this hotel. Moreover, the hotel was extremely dirty. There were cigarette ashes in the bathroom and we asked them to clean the bathroom and they still did not clean the ashes. The bed sheets were very dirty and had pink spots on them. The carpet had several spots in different places. They would not replenish the breakfast items and some trays were empty when we came to eat breakfast around 9:30.

FranceI have been staying at the place before and then it was just OK, since it has not improved. Two major issues during my stay. First, they have a big problem with non smoking rooms. As everybody smokes, that do now know which rooms have been smoked in and so I ended up in a room with a non smoking label that was awful. It took a lot of arguing and moving room twice to get one that had not been smoked in (recently) and had working air-conditioning. It seems they don't understand how awful it is for a non smoker to sleep in second hand smoke. The other issue is the breakfast. It was never great and varied, but now they have crossed the line and don't even serve real coffee anymore. Powder coffee is all they have, no real milk to go with it. Absolutely not acceptable.
