Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesOur bathroom has water at the floor, not sure if leaking from shower stand or toilet bowl. I did not tell the hotel because I just stay one night, that is not bother me much.
The location is good for seeing sunrise in Mt Nemrut. Facility is quiet, comfortable and peaceful. We skip the breakfast because of our schedule. The food at dinner is super tasty, our group enjoy so much. The host and employees are super nice and kind.

Italysome facilities could be refurbished, but I am sure this will happen with time
I warmly recommend Karavanseray hotel in Karadut. The owner, Mr Osman, and his sister speak enough English and after a few minutes they make you feel part of their cozy enlarged family. Which includes three delightful little ones and two Syrian young men brothers who enriched the bunch. The generosity and hospitality surpass the expectations. They picked me up at Kahta bus station for a very good price at 6.30 am and gave me my room at 7 practically giving me one extra night for free. They drove me and a group of 4 bikers up the mount 14 km up for an extra 300 lira and picked us up after twilight. The pool is chilly with the mountain source water and healthily refreshing. The food genuine and expressly cooked both for breakfast and dinner are included in the stay. And he offered lunch for free. Some might be put off by some tiles in the pool which could be replaced, but after 15 minutes here, you will feel like visiting some family or very close friends in the country, and won’t pay attention to those minor details in one of the best value for money structures in the area. Probably the closest to Nemrut. And will leave with heartfelt nostalgia even just after 24 hours. Ps mr Osman knows everyone in the region and will be excellent adviser for a tour of this too often neglected area of Turkey, an area known as Mesopotamia, as Euphrates river flows here in the stunning landscape. I hope to come back soon.

Nothing, as we did NOT check in after we saw the facility and the hotel manager. Then we went to next Hotel Euphrat, which was very good.

United KingdomSmall room and not particularly comfortable. Generally in need of maintenance. Misleading pictures as the pool at this location is now just a hole. No railing on balcony of the room with a 3 meter drop. Expensive compared to alternatives nearby.
Excellent location Very friendly staff Good dinner and breakfast

South AfricaThe hotel seems to be under renovation with many broken down areas, exposed wiring, broken pool etc. The staff do not speak any English. We left early for the sunup hike to Mount Nemrut so told them that we would not need dinner or breakfast but they did not offer any discount for this. No hot water in the evening.
Great location if you are to visit Mount Nemrut. Not many options out there. The local village and landscape is gorgeous. Very local feel to the area.

United StatesYou have to pay in cash. The property is falling apart. When we arrived at 9:30 pm we were likely there too late for dinner but they did not take the cost of the dinner out of our reservation. They didn't even mention dinner as we arrived so we just went hungry that evening and waited for breakfast which was fine.
It's close to the site but make sure you approach the site from the South as we came from the North and the road at the top of the mountain does not connect and cost us 1.5 hours drive to the hotel. The wifi was decent and parking easy. Breakfast was fine.
