The room was large and comfortable, with a view out over the hotel pool and further to the sea. It was quiet as requested. The breakfasts were excellent and varied. The staff were pleasant helpful and very available.

We originally booked a week but extended our stay for longer it was that perfect. Such a wonderful place to stay with kind care and attention from all the staff. We stayed in the King Suite which had amazing views across the sea, watching the sun set every night. Our room felt like home and the bed was so comfortable - it's rare to sleep this good. We went swimming every day in the heated pool. We also loved the breakfast, one of the best hotel breakfasts we've ever had. Overall we can't recommend Payava Hotel enough, I think we've found our new winter get away and hope to stay again very soon.

This is an absolutely fantastic hotel, it has everything one might need. The pool is clean and warm! We stayed in January and the temperature was perfect to swim. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. The breakfast buffet was delicious, a mixture of Turkish specialities and everyone will find something for them. The restaurant itself is quite reasonably priced and also delicious. The greatest asset of this hotel is the staff, we have never felt so cared for in a hotel. They were there to help us with anything we needed. They even made us a packed lunch for the journey to the airport! I cannot recommend this place enough.

Booking.com describes the pool as heated which was one of the key reasons I booked this hotel, but staff advised this is only once the weather turns colder. Was a bit disappointed, it might be worth checking with the hotel before booking if that’s important to you.

Beautiful buffet breakfast, kind and welcoming staff. Shout out to Bayram who organised a transfer from the airport the night before I arrived and Erdem who seemed to be there 24/7 and was so hospitable and friendly. Room was excellent and bed very comfortable. Located about 10 min walk from the harbour and shopping area. I would stay again!

About a 20 minute walk to the centre of town was the only minor thing but a cab was £3 when we were feeling lazy

Room was spacious and cleaned daily. Breakfast was a phenomenal buffet. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, a tourist guide pdf was sent on arrival. Little things like towels to use on the beach was also nice.

The metal beds, they were very noisy and we had to ask the staff to come and tighten all the bolts on the bed, they stayed tight for a few days but loosened again. Should be replaced with wooden bed frames.

On occasions, we struggled to get two sun loungers round the swimming pool. We were only made aware the night before we checked out, that we could have used the pool facilities at the sister hotel, the True Blue, a short walk away which would have made a difference. One minor criticism was that there was no information i.e a booklet or any literature, about the hotel or Kalkan in our room which would have been useful,

Breakfast was fresh and varied each day with a huge choice of local produce prepared to a high standard. The breakfast time of 8.30 to 11am was very generous and when asked, the staff went to extra lengths to provide omelettes and various coffees.

Not enough plug sockets next to the beds. Other than that, no complaints at all.

Not the standard buffet we come to expect. it was different and we enjoyed it. Parking at back of hotel which is great. We had ground floor pool access with two rooms, Not too busy in the last week of September, so plenty of space for dining and swimming. Awesome little restaurants right opposite the hotel, with market shop not far away. A little far from the beach, but for most its an easy walk.

Pool is rather small but we have not used it anyways. Rooms facing the street are quite noisy as there are several bars and restaurants in front, which play loud music till midnight and on some nights longer. We had a small explosion as we tried to plug-in hair dryer, but issue was handed well and professionally as hotel offered us to change the rooms straight away.

Nice clean hotel with good breakfast with many choices. Convenient private parking (not street parking). Location on the quieter side of Kalkan, with only 3 minutes drive (or 20 minutes walk) to the center. Amazing beach bars nearby (but very hilly road).

Amazing hotel in a great location. Our room was very big, modern and perfectly clean. The breakfast was very good with so many choices, very fresh and healthy options as well. The pool is lovely and there are plenty of sub lounger. The staff was so friendly and helpful! The hotel is by a busy road but we didn’t find it too loud at all. Kalkan in general is quite a busy little town and the hotel is located very well.

I thought the pool area was a bit cramped .

Lovely big room with great balcony and view. Lived the location with sufficient restaurants close by and no need to go into town every day. Good breakfasts.

We had a great vacation. The hotel is small but stylish and cozy, the staff is attentive and helpful. It was our friend's birthday and the staff bought a cake for us and congratulated our friend. The breakfasts were incredibly good, the food and drinks in the hotel cafe were great too

The pool area was smaller than anticipated. Children jumping off tables and beds and soaking the whole area. This should be better controlled and managed.

Location on noisy roadside,four cafes opposite,sometimes playing loud music.LONG walk on steep roads into Kalkan centre.Pool compromised by space,jammed up to building.Extremely squeaky door.

Room size,good bed,great bathroom,EXCEPTIONAL shower.Outstanding breakfast,options frequently changed,cake choices fantastic.

The pool area whilst very nice is small and our preference is larger areas this is a personal preference.

The rooms are spacious and clean and whilst our room fronted onto the road, patio doors closed nothing could be heard. Great welcome and help during our two night stay.
