Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I can hear all the noise from the street and couldnt sleep. Poor breakfast

Breakfast- as owners in order to do cost saving, instead buffet, delivering breakie to your room which consists of minimum. When you think about Istanbul breakfast you should have pishi, simit, menemen. During COVID they chose to deliver breakfast to room packed, but as covid is over, I think open buffet should be back. WIFI- I didnt like the wifi, each time I needed to switch off and on. This is my second time I have been in this hotel, same issue hasnt been resolved. As I was traveling due to work, I couldnt switch on video meeting, therefore attended without video. Hotel need to improve the wifi signal Soundproof room- I can basically hear the neighbours calls, upper floors kids playings.
I loved front office team being very responsive. Specially night shift Akin bey, was very helpful, booked taxi for me, advised places to visit. Location is super close to everything paralel to Valikonagi Caddesi. At night it is very safe to come back to hotel.

The breakfast in the room is not comfortable, if more than one person in the room. Better to use the lobby for that purpose.
The staff was excellent. We had a mistake in the reservation date and they solved that immediately. They reacted immediately on different requests.

I did miss having a balcony in my room, though I later realized that some rooms do have one – I must have overlooked that when booking. There were also too few hangers for all the clothes I brought, but I could have requested more (which I didn’t). It was definitely an option.
First and foremost, the staff were amazing! They assisted with all (small) issues and questions, from organizing day trips to arranging taxis – everything went smoothly. Special thanks to Akin, Eren & Omer! The location is excellent, with all the main attractions within close proximity. The area around the hotel is clean, safe, and a great place to be. I can't say much about the breakfast as I was never up that early (I believe it was available until 10 a.m.). The room was clean and there was little to no noise disturbance. In fact, I might have been the one causing more noise with my loud music, but no one complained, even though the hotel was fully booked. The walls must be pretty soundproof!"

The room service isn't actually room service and the restaurant they gave me the menu for was awful. You are required to pay on the spot you can't charge to the room.
The room was great: clean, modern and comfortable. The staff were friendly and the location has everything you need around it.

It’s a beautiful hotel. It’s clean. For my reason of travel, it was perfectly located. Personnel were amazing! They were so kind and helpfun with every question I had.

There was no buffet breakfast!!! This hotel advertises buffet breakfast but it simply doesn't exist. Instead you have to call reception everyday and ask for your breakfast box to be sent to your room. Not ideal given that I am a picky eater (hence choosing a buffet location) only to be told there wasn't one so I ended up buying breakfast most days, even though this should have been included in my hotel.
The hotel was very pleasant but also very basic. Good for what I needed but if you are looking for space and ameneties then this hotel isn't for you!

The soundproofing of the rooms was pretty bad, we could hear the people in the other room having a discussion. The breakfast was pretty basic, not a buffet.

Can not think of any.
It was my 3rd stay in that hotel. I love the location and I like that part of Istanbul, near the shops, little cafes and restaurants. The staff is kind and helpful. I will certainly stay there again on my next visit to Istanbul.

Traffic/Parking. Getting from the airport to the city was fine........but it went through many narrow streets, once we got into the city. Had to park about a block or so away. No fault of the hotel, but that's the way some parts of Istanbul are.
Location is good. Was able to get around by foot. We went out for our meals, so not sure about the food service. There were some nearby restaurants. The staff was helpful in getting us a taxi to the airport.

Excellent staff, super clean and very modern. Complete breakfast brought to the room (bread, simit, 3 types of cheese, veggies, jam and honey). Just a few minutes walk from Osmanbey metro.
