Top location in the old city - Haghia Sophia and Sultan Ahmet Mosque are 5-6 minute away by walking; direct bus station to Istanbul Aquarium is also 5 minutes away. Very possitive and friendly staff, rich and tasty breakfast.

Friendly, professional and respectful staff. Room weee being cleaned daily if you wished and bedding’s were really clean. We removed the brown throws and pillows. They were not needed. Pillows and beds comfortable. All bathrooms modern. Outside has a sitting area ideal for waiting for taxi or if anyone needs to get fresh air.

We had a genuinely great experience at the Sultan Hamit Hotel. Our sea-facing room provided a mesmerising view of the Bosphorus Strait's activities both early in the morning and at day's end. The hotel's standout feature is undoubtedly its staff and their exceptional helpfulness. They are cordial and always ready to assist with any needs, from arranging airport pick-ups and planning our day/sea tour in Istanbul to providing guidance on the public transport system and where to find quality items at affordable rates. Their patience and thorough assistance were truly commendable. The rooms are immaculate, equipped with ample amenities, including the convenience of ordering food. The breakfast area is spacious, offering an extensive spread every day—a noteworthy point for me as a vegetarian who found the food menu exceptionally satisfying. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, situated right behind Sultan Ahmet and next to the Bosphorus Strait and tram stations. Every facility appeared to be within a 5-minute walk from the hotel. Even the airport drop-off was hassle-free. If I ever visit Istanbul again, I would undoubtedly choose to book this place for our stay.

The only thing I would improve is a softer matress because I prefer the soft ones in the other hand my couple was very happy, it depends on each one preferences

The location is wonderful, just a few steps from Topkapi palace, sultan Hamit and Hagiya Sophia and one block from restaurants and stores, hard to find a better located hotel in Istanbul

Excellent parking. 5 spaces. We had no problem with finding the hotel. It's in a quiet part of the area, away from all the traffic. Less than 5 minutes walk to Aya Sophia, Topkapi palace and Blue Mosque. We had a beautiful sea view. Breakfast was great. All the staff were very polite and pleasant. One of the best hotels I've stayed in Istanbul. Great value for money too.

The beds can be better. I've tried the breakfast once, rich in options but not so European style.

The place where the hotel is located is great to see the main sights of Instabul, i.e., Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi, Capali Carsi (Grand Bazaar) etc. The personnel is friendly and always willing to help you. Ichrak, a young lady at the reception, is amazing, funny and ready to provide an answer when needed!

A couple of standard rooms do not have the same conditions as other standard rooms, so your expectations may not be met. I would recommend downgrading these rooms to economy or giving visitors the option to select a specific room when booking. It should be noted that the guys at the reseption kindly helped us change the room to a better one after availability.

Ideal location, in the old town, close to the promenade and all the main attractions. Within walking distance to the metro and sea station. The room has a small refrigerator and tea making area. Breakfast was quite good with a wide variety of options.

I booked double deluxe room on booking.com but the booking was done for deluxe room either due to booking.com error or may be the rooms were not updated on booking.com by hotel. But in any case hotel guest relations were kind enough to change my room type to family room without any extra charges.

Staff was helpful all around, location was ideal right next to topkapi palace and just 7 min walk to topkapi entrance which means all the main attractions are at walking distance like hagia sufya, blue mosque, basilica cistern etc

We paid 700 Lira for the taxi from airport to the hotel. But when we asked for the taxi from hotel to the airport we were charged 1000 Lira. The taxi driver said you have to pay whatever people of the hotel said and he didn’t turn on the taxi meter. I think people from the hotel commission the taxi for their gusts.

Location is great. Close to almost all touristic places. They also do serve very good breakfast. The do care their guests very well. Last time when I was leaving Istanbul my flight was at 8 am, and I left my the hotel at 5 am. They even prepared me a breakfast to go, which is makes me feel so grateful for treating me. 100% I recommend this place.
