The breakfast is turkish style, the toilet and shower are separated so it's easier when there are more people, they have small lockers so you can save your personal things there, my room was very clean under the bed and in corners I always check that, the location it's great you'll find everything you need.

The rooms are quite basic and could use some improvement. There is not much of an atmosphere unless you create it yourself. I think the eating area was shut down after breakfast because of a lack of staff being able to occupy the bar the rest of the day. This area can easily be turned into a comfort spot for travelers if they don't feel leaving the hostel. This hostel might be the cheapest in Istanbul it is however in an expensive area. Affordable restaurants are atleast a fifteen minuten walk away.

I mean I came here mainly because the price/expectancy was very decent. A big shout out to the staff. I liked them a lot. The breakfast is a nice kick starter for the rest of the day but don't expect anything fancy. The entire hostel is properly cleaned daily

We book for room with bathroom but due to some issues they provide us with a room without bathroom. The lack of facilities such as water dispencer.

There is not much atmosphere and I think it is mainly because of the missing lounge or hangout area. There are some tables which are great to make use of but otherwise a hangout could give a good impulse. Create the vibe yourself here or find it elsewhere. I think there are some basic things missing in the bedrooms like individual lights and small tables for each bed. The area of the hostel is rather expensive, when you're on strict budget you'll have to travel for 10-15 min to get to more affordable options.

I like the staff members. They thought along in finding a storage location for my bicycle. They have a large locker area downstairs that comes for 200 lira deposit. Large enough for all your valuables. The breakfast is an alright kickstarter, don't expect to much of it just the basics but nice that it is included.

I wasn’t thrilled, as an old lady, to be given a room on the third floor—and a couple of older gentlemen shared my dislike of the climb. At night the noise from the near by bars was really loud. The step up to the bathroom from my private room made me nervous, as there was no hand hold in case my wet feet from the shower made me slip.

The staff and owner were super accomodating and helpful and friendly. The breakfast made a really good place to meet other residents and make friends. The room was very clean. A short walk took you to the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, plus the location was surrounded by food establishments.

Everything was perfect. The room, bed and bathroom amenities were very comfortable, the location is great for a short stay- in the heart of the old town, within the 5 minute walk to major attractions. The stuff was very welcoming and helpful. The stuff speak good English, 2 ladies speak Russian. I shared a room with a nice girl who gave me traveling tips- everything was amazing. There are boat tours leaving from the area. Everything was easy and convenient.

First of all the location is superb. A walkable distance to all major ancient attractions, just walk around twice in the daylight, then you understand the area and tram station and local rail stations are nearby.( Not metro). The receptionist is super friendly and always has a helping hand,easy communicable too.the location is on an ancient street with plenty of restaurants and pubs( prices may be high due to its location. They have a cafe attached to the facilities and will get a standard breakfast for free. Value for money facilities and nice location.
