Our stay at Taskonak was superb from start to finish! We arrived at around 5pm and were told our balloon ride wouldn’t be going ahead for the following day but Angela had already booked a balloon ride for the day after! The bed was really comfortable and the room was equipped with an AC, a fridge, private bathroom & a TV connected to WiFi with Netflix, Disney+ and Prime video. The WiFi was also really fast and reliable. It’s approx a 5 min walk to the Main Street in Goremë from the property. The breakfast is also great and the chef can make you fried, scrambled eggs or an omelette at your request. If we return to Goremë we’ll be staying here. Angela is wonderful & we had lots of great chats with her over breakfast. She truly bent over backwards to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We’re so grateful! Thank you to all at the Taskonak Hotel for your hospitality.

Our room and bathroom were small, but I believe there are some larger rooms that you could choose.

The hotel was quaint, clean, cozy and in a perfect location. The staff were excellent and Angela the owner was incredibly helpful and kind! Such a welcoming place to stay and a perfect little cave hotel!

Was a bit warm for me, but open window helped

From the first message from the hotel confirming the booking the check-out, everything was excenent: Angela and the team truly made me feel welcomed. Any request they did assist me with, either it's pick up, or hot air balloon booking. Room was huge, with a cute sitting area in the courtyard, super clean and comfortable. And the rooftop! It deserves 10 stars itself. Thank you! And I do recommend this property if you are lost in all the options in the area.

This is an excellent hotel. The rooms are spacious and have all the facilities you could need. The bathroom is like your own personal spa. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The dining hall had a great view and the breakfast had a massive choice and was very good.

Beautiful cave hotel, very close to the center. The top terrace is perfect to watch sunrise and the hot air balloons. Angela, the owner was so welcoming. She gave us some great information on where to eat and what hikes we could do. The room was great. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. I definitely recommend and would stay here again.

There was as a bit of a mix up with booking the balloon ride. Even though we had specifically asked for the earliest possible hour for the balloon take off, it was not what happened, We ended taking off from a neighborhood which was further than the center of Goreme.

Overall friendly and helpful staff. Very good location. The breakfast was the highlight of the stay, always delicious.

Difficult access for people with disabilities or low mobility.

The roof top is a plus, but the location for sightseeings and room was great. Shower is strong, WiFi works very well, the bed is comfortable. The breakfast is delicious. The viewing is breathtaking.
