The property was perfectly located, only a quick walk to the center of Goreme where all the stores and restaurants are. The terrace area was beautifully put together and was simply the perfect spot to be at to see the air balloons every morning. The manager there booked us the air balloon, ATV ride and got us a car rental for a better price than we could find online or at any booking agencies, he was always available to give us recommendations or answer any questions we had about the area, Cappadocia, or anything else we needed, he was really helpful and friendly. The breakfast was amazing, it was very feeling and kept us full till evening for dinner. If you stay at Taskonak you must try the omelette, it is delicious!! Our stay just couldn’t have been better !! :)

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. If they were away from the front desk and we were by it, I do not know how they knew but within a minute they were back to answer any questions. They took care of all the bags as almost everything were stairs. Amazing breakfast and view from the top floor. The best experience we had was they were very responsive through messages, and they were able to find us the balloon flight almost last minute and cash (which is way better than booking your flight through other websites like Viator because most websites do not return your money if the flight is cancelled, i.e. cancelled by weather/wind).

No fault of the hotel, but the municipality was installing gas lines across Göreme so it was difficult to get to the hotel location by car. Some roads were blocked. It was hard but we found a path (people on the roads are kind and helpful) Steep staircase in the hotel to get to our room, it was a bit annoying, old people may not be comfortable. But it's understandable considering the nature of Göreme, I guess most hotels with a good view will have this issue.

Room was amazing. Large bathroom with a nice jacuzzi. Staff were really helpful, helped carry our huge suitcase to our room (there were some staircase climbing involved, so needed some help) Great view from the terrace. We had a photographer do a shoot for us in the terrace. Breakfast was the best I've had in my 11-day Turkey trip.

Super cheerful staff members, they are always able to assist you with any questions, needs requests you may have. They sorted out few tours for us. Amazing breakfast full of local quality products, both sweet and savoury. Bed super comfy, the layout of the room makes you feel like you are gonna sleep into a cave. I'd stay here again and recommend this place to anyone. To be mentioning the owner whom is a great host!

The staff waited us until midnight since the flight delayed a lot. He also allowed us to have breakfast earlier than normal served time. Additionally, we really appreciated that he helped us to carried luggages because of heavy rain.

We had the best time in Goreme and this was mainly thanks to Taskonak hotel. The staff is amazing and available for any kind of request. Breakfast is all homemade and delicious. the view from the terrace is very nice and our room was very comfortable. can only recommend!

Best to let Taskonak book your airport transfer for you! We just got a regular taxi from the Cappadocia airport and the driver charged us double what we paid in a yellow taxi in Istanbul (from the airport to the Blue Mosque) even though it was half the distance. Just to also note there are steps to access the reception and rooms (but this is typical in Göreme with the terraced hotels) which could be a little more tricky for anyone with mobility issues. Suggest adding a little handrail at the bottom section of the first stairs leading down from reception.

Angela was so lovely, warm & welcoming. Her partner Yilmaz was helpful too and kindly dropped us off at the open air museum. Charming clean room and spacious bathroom. Delicious breakfast especially the homemade pastries! For dinner we discovered a lovely restaurant further up the hill (access steps from the hotel across the road). The hot air ballooning was spectacular. The first morning it was cancelled by Civil Aviation due to wind conditions but we were lucky on the second day! Overall an unforgettable experience.

It was a little difficult to control the temperature in the room but it wasn't a big deal.

The place was absolutely wonderful. The room was beautiful (more beautiful than the pictures), aesthetically pleasing. It's in a great location with a tremendous view. The breakfast spread was delisiously wide. And the staff?!?! They quickly felt like friends. What a gem of a place. We felt so fortunate booking our stay here. Oh! I forgot to mention that the bathroom had heated floors?!?!

The owners of the hotel are the loveliest people, so helpful and welcoming! They will book your balloon flights, tours, taxi’s or whatever you want to do for you which removes all the stress and allows you to fully enjoy your holiday. The hotel is perfectly located and os only a hop, skip and a jump to the Centre of Goreme with most of the Goreme based attractions within walking distance. The rooms are lovely and preserves the original caves as part of it so you could be sleeping inside part of an original cave that has been transformed into a modern hotel room. The breakfast is fantastic. I have to say it’s one of the best if not the best hotel experience I’ve ever had as nothing is too much trouble for them to assist with what you need. Highly recommended and a huge thank you to Angela and her husband, Caner and the entire team at Hotel Taskonak for the warmest welcome, first class customer service and genuine nice characters!

The staff are incredibly friendly. Yilmaz and Angela are the best hotel owners I have ever dealt with. They helped us with hotel transfers and very sociable. Easily the most friendly hotel I have stayed at. The breakfast was great, the hotel was very clean, and the cave room was stunning. The view from the hotel was also spectacular. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Everything was great

Great hotel in Goreme, super friend staff. Our room was very comfortable and clean, also very beautiful. The bathroom has a double bathtub! Very tasty fresh-made breakfast with big variety. We had a great stay!
