Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyIt is not a huge room but of course for one person enough space....for 2 people it will be cozy (I had a double room)
It is wonderful in the middle of Eskisehir and you can walk to all interesting places - the amazing OMM / Modern Art museum is very close, also the old city with colourful houses on the one side and water and canals with the gondolas on the other side. The staff/ members of the hotel were really friendly and always helpful. Great place to stay, I would return!

AlbaniaThe problem i faced was the noise from the room above mines as i was at first floor for almost 1 week and because of wood construction you could hear everything (i had a couple 🫣). Otherwise, once at second floor, was better room. Internet was another problem and i couldnt connect to call family or to work.
Location perfect, close to tram and bus station and on walking distance you can go to shops and even center. Staff was superb, friendly and helpful as never before considering that i travel a lot. They brought me water everyday at room, offered tea or coffee, supported with suggestions when asked, and we had very nice conversations together. All my respect and kidness for them 🍀🤗

SingaporeThe distinct smell of the toilet, this could be due to the old building but hope something can be done to eliminate this.
The location is superb, plenty of food options, grocery stalls and markets are within walking distance. The attractions including the river side and the ottoman houses are very nearby. The room is with good size and comfortable, overall is clean but the cleanliness of the shower screen is definitely needed to improve. Overall stay is a pleasant one.

PolandSmall but very cosy room, enough for two people for a couple of nights. Very comfy bed. Possibility of getting fresh towels, AC worked like a charm. Cosmetics in abundance, reasonable quality as well. Great starting point for walking around the city. Direct tram from an intercity bus station. Cafes, restaurants, markets, shops with local food, all within a sjort walking distance. A little fun fact, in the alley you can find a hairdresser's open almost 24h a day for some reason:)

BrazilI had to ask for daily cleaning - first day I was surprised to find out the room had not been revised. On the other hand, I got a magnificent complimentary breakfast and the staff was really helpful and eager to accommodate all needs. Therefore, maybe the cleaning habits might be different in a boutique hotel and I consider this a minor detail.
Beautiful, peaceful, quiet.

BulgariaSome of the facilities were a little worn out, my friends in the other rooms mentioned the shower wasn't operating normally and was a little broken, but this could be easily fixed. My room was on the corner above the street which was a little busy and loud until midnight, so the people whose sleep is light may be disturbed.
Location of this hotel is quite central, everything is easily accessible on foot. I stayed here few years ago, hotel was brand new back then. It was my first choice for this visit of course. The staff are super helpful, friendly and welcoming. Assisted with storing 4 large bicycles inside overnight, instead of leaving them out on the street. Arranged free breakfast for all of us, although just one of the rooms had breakfast originally booked. Also arranged a baby cor for our son in our room as requested. Thumbs up for the staff!

United KingdomCompact very clean room - well thought out to maximise usage. Enough space to lay out 2 hand luggage cases and there were 3 hangers for clothes. Good to have a little bedside table and electric socket each side of the bed. Kettle, fridge and tv - but only 2 plug sockets within their reach, ok for us as we didn't use tv. One bedside light not working. Bathroom - again great use of space but glass shelf not screwed down properly and dangerously loose. Loo seat not properly fixed. All minor and would be easy to fix with the right screws and tools. Tastefully decorated, light and airy room with thermostatically controlled temperature. Ideal for short 1-3 day stays. Great place, just a few minor snagging issues. Wifi not working though.

The heater works perfectly The fridge was cold The location was close to the historical area and tram/bus lines The two girls at the reception went above and beyond to help us and they also made a nice breakfast The AC was really efficient if a bit confusing.

IranThe first night we were checked in by a sir who were a young boy and really was polite and kind. But following days there were a mrs. Who were so cold and they told something and may think i cant undrestand turkish. I think it was not a polite way to a guest who was writing you a kind comment on your memorial notebook.
The building is an old one who has been renovated and i liked it. The room we have reserved wasn’t ready because they said that the window had been broken and the other room was really boring without any light. We had baby and that room was biger but not fresh and lovely so we take the little room on the ground floor in the same price as the big one. By the way we were ok.
