Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Trinidad and TobagoPlease accurately describe the different types of rooms and their price. I am not convinced that I got the room that I paid for. Please have up to date pictures on booking sites. The TV system could also be more modern. The bathrooms can use more towels as well and higher quality soaps based on the price of the room. The fridge should be fully stocked before guests come. The WI FI in the rooms are non existent and not all of the phones work. There should be a prayer mat in each room for muslims - international all inclusive hotels have these things. You should ask about religious preference before sending alcohol to the room. There should be wake up calls if turtles are sighted during the night or ask before hand if guests would like to receive this call.
Food was good at all times.

United StatesThey don’t stock the room fridge daily- only on arrival (so when the 2 bottle water is done, you need to go to the bar to get water). The WiFi in the room don’t work (only when you are outside… there was no iron, the phone was broken. No shampoo or lotion, just some cheap soap. If you pick the turtle sea view, you have to walk far to get to the bar and dining area. No local cuisines like curry or doubles (main reason i like vacation is to try the local cuisine). If you book via local travel agency from Trinidad, it’s cheaper. The price i paid for 5 nights all inclusive, could have given me 9 nights if i had booked via the local travel agency.
The location, the pool! The grill bar staff were very friendly.

GermanyThere's a surprise$1000 TT deposit if you don't take the full package to cover anything you use. The deposit still hasn't been refunded, although I was told on checkout, more than a week ago, it would be three working days (which have now elapsed). No reponse from hotel when messaged. Pool shallow throughout, the beach chairs are not taken care of (they are musty and mouldy- this can be avoided by stacking them on evenings and not leaving them to elements). Hotel rusty and during rains a lot of rusty water entered the bedroom bathroom. Hotel locks doors (without notice) and so I had to wait outside when returning from dinner around 10.15pm.
Bedroom opened on to beach. Good options at breakfast, really helpful and pleasant staff. Pool area pleasant.

Trinidad and TobagoHowever, the bar lacked local alcohol options like angostura line white oak etc they offered cheap liquor only For all-inclusive I find they tell u check in at 3, and yes, we did that, but you don't get access to your room until after 5, which I didn't like, especially when u have kids with u Information of usage and where things are was lacking No one to carry you to your room We mentioned upon checking in that it is a big family, but they put us very far from each other Although the request was made
I liked that the pool was awesome also the grill bar where u could've gotten something to eat during the day and the access to bars was easy

Trinidad and TobagoI was charged an additional TTD$3,600. And deserve a refund. The menu was quite repetitive. There was no fire escape for the upstairs units. This is a safety risk and needs to be addressed urgently because there is only one entrance. There is no lifeguard on duty for of beach. The people on the outside of the beach are a bit shady and I believe are a nuisance to the foreign guests. If they are trained to present themselves they may not be frowned upon. The hotel should include in the package - eg tours available especially to close beaches and areas to take pics..black rock, Plymouth etc
Breakfast, lunch and dinner was local and tasty. I did get my request for special bread. The presence of management around the compound was appreciative. Serving staff were friendly and helpful as usual. I did see some repairs being done to the facility.

United KingdomRooms a little basic, not feeling 100% secure given anyone can walk in from the beach & phone in room not working. Also people organising trips try and talk to you if you sit close to the edge where the beach is so a bit annoying if trying to relax by the pool or eat.
Great breakfasts, and we saw a turtle come up onto the beach to lay her eggs one evening so that was exciting! The hotel will call/knock on your door if you request this when you arrive if you’re keen to see them. Note it was quite late maybe 11/11:30pm when it was spotted and they are on the beach for a few hours! Also the evening activities/entertainment were good including local singers/karaoke evenings and game nights.

Trinidad and TobagoThe rooms could do with some refurbishing. The furniture is a bit old and worn and for some reason our room was very dark. The breakfast options were a bit limited - one morning they said they ran out of butter. I also had to call reception multiple times for fresh towels.
The location of the hotel is convenient and the pools are great if you’re travelling with kids.

United StatesFood selection. We did not have the all inclusive package. In most all - inclusive places, the food is not the best quality and attracts a crowd that isn't the best quality either. The restaurant was definitely under staffed and sadly the quality of the food choice, presentation and selection reflected this.
Location was perfect and we will be returning Condition of the rooms were basic at best and serves the purpose of a place to stash your stuff and sleep if you plan to be outdoors more than indoors. My children enjoyed the pool immensely
