United KingdomThe only member of staff I encountered didn't speak much English but communication through messages was relatively good. The bathroom didn't exactly look clean, there were leftover hair here and there and the shower cabin has not been deeply cleaned (shower door and walls) for ages as you could see smudges of water on the cabin door.
This accommodation has excellent location next to the metro station. It is made out of old shopping stalls so it looks a bit weird at first, but the room had all that was needed, AC was working well and the bed was comfortable.

Singaporesound isolation can be better rooms assigned is very small, there is barely any walking space after placing our luggage in the room (to be fair an extra bed was placed to accommodate children) neighborhood is quite rowdy and full of scooters location of the hotel is a little hard to find the hotel is strictly stairs access only the clothes dryer was not efficient, barely dried our clothes (the suggested qty is around 5 pieces per round? we had about 50 pieces of clothes to wash and dry as a family) we didnt have enough coins to run the dryer and there isnt a coin exchange anywhere in the hotel nearby 7-11 is super unfriendly when we went there to buy some things and asked for more coins for change we had to manually dry everything by hairdryer at the end, it ended up being pretty stressful.
Location is above a night market that opens till late daily lounge area is comfortable and clean i really wanted to like the stay here but the dryer ruined it for me

Very nice location embedded in a local living environment. Walking distance to a subway station. The host was readily available when we called her to show us the place and the room. The place is well equipped, including a laundry machine. Good indications were given by host. We were basically alone during our stay, so it was very calm. Could be more 'livevly' if all room are occupied.

Taiwanthe entrance is a little hidden, but is probably the worst thing about the property. once past that, no problem. call the staff and they can help, in English as well.
for the price, excellent value. clean, secure, comfortable, quiet and helpful staff. bear in mind, this is a budget option, but delivers on the cost very well.

SwitzerlandThere is no real reception, it's more like an Airbnb type solution where you have to ask them to come let you in at a specified time. On the day we were leaving we would have liked to leave our luggage until leaving the city later in the day, and wrote to them on LINE. Unfortunately the answer came only 3 hours later, and 8 minutes before the latest possible checkout time. By that time we had already given up and left. They apologized for not responding earlier, but I wonder what would have happened if we had needed help in an emergency.
The rooms are nice, very clean and quite new, and the place is in a good central location close to Central Park MRT station.

AustraliaI didn't like that the shower didn't have a curtain so it wet everything in the bathroom. The room has no window. This was ok for us but perhaps not for others. A negative that should be rectified as soon as possible is that ART is not on Google Maps. The front door in the laneway doesn't have any signage. Also you'll need to walk up two flights of stairs as there is no lift.
The venue was very niche, well decorated and designed, clean, had laundry facilities, a good communal dining area with cutlery and all located in a very convenient busy location. The MTR station was two minutes walk away while food stalls appeared right outside in the evening. There's also a 24 hour 7-Eleven just across the laneway. We stayed in the British-themed room and that was cool. The bed was comfortable, the TV had cable channels (Asian and English language).
