The owner didn't send us any information and we were surprised to arrive to a closed door. Only after a while, when we messages through the site and waited for 15 minutes, we got the code of how to get in. We didn't meet anyone. The place is smaller than expected. It's pretty small, but does offer a sitting corner. No fridge in the room but you can use the one downstairs.

Location is good, close to the water. It was relatively quiet. There was a construction site nearby but it was quiet during the night.

The big air conditioning unit on the ground floor in teh common area was noise, it could be heard in the first floor apartment. Sleeping with earplugs was okay. The AC unit inside the room was quite, no problem with that one.

Little gem in a small alley. Social space, including kitchen is located on the ground floor, and 3-4 private studios on the upper floors. Nicely designed, spacious apartment, clean bathroom, comfy bed. No reception, but self-checkin works perfectly. Great location Pier2 Art Center, pier and parking is only 5-6 mins walking from the place.

there isn't a door for the shower area, so we had to use the main toilet door to try and block the splashing. it's also really gross to step on the diamateceous mat that's dusty and stained with wet feet, just so they don't have to provide regular cotton bathroom mats.

fuss-free check in, punny room names, the in-room dehumidifier + netflix. we also liked the location as it's near enough to pier2, but quiet enough in the evenings with plenty of food and drink options around.

- The door lock could do with an upgrade - you have to lock it from the outside which is fine when you’re leaving the room but annoying when you’re in the room. - Shower was a bit unusual as the main door to the bathroom was possibly also the shower door but didn’t completely close so water did get out

Quirky and cute decorations. Bed was comfy and I enjoyed having breakfast on the balcony. Location was fantastic with a bus stop right on the main street! Just a short walk from love river (definitely take a bike ride all the way around especially at night !) As I booked online I wasn’t sure of the name of the room I was staying in (2 rooms per floor) and had to contact the host who was very responsive. But otherwise just check the notice board opposite the stairs (mine was ‘exotic dreams’ on the 3F). Also note that there is only stairs so be prepared.

The shower room only had an half glass wall, so when you take a shower, the floor would be wet, and they didn’t provide the rug. The other were good.

The decorations are characteristic, this time I lived in a butt room. There were so many cute items about butt, having so much fun.

Shower not draining very well. Don't understand why you have to use PayPal to pay when I already gave my card on booking. Unmanned check in and the cafe on the first floor was closed.

Before coming to taiwan, It was confusing that I had a request to pay by paypal even after giving the credit card information, so I was afraid it was a scam that I had ignored it until I arrived at this hotel. Since I did not pay by paypal and I did not get a passcode, I waited outside in the burning sun until I got in touch with the staff. Luckily, I had a Taiwanese friend who could call the owner. After all, it was a systematic problem between taiwan and booking.com.

I loved how clean the room was! Also, it was spacious. It is often hard to find this clean house in a humid country, but this was exceptionally great. The place was near the pier, which was good to look around the markets and shops and street arts along the train rail.

The location is quite strategic. It is located close to many scenic areas and delicious local cuisine. The host is communicative, and their self-check-in system is convenient, everything was so smooth. The artsy design of the room and cleanliness is exceptional. Definitely will come again the next time visiting Kaohsiung.
