Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

TaiwanThe room was surprisingly small. Given the fact we chose two people, that room was definitely not for two adults.
The best part was definitely the location. The staff does speak a little bit of English as well.

United KingdomGood location by Pier 2 Art area with decent night market & shops on the weekend we were there. About 10min walk to Yanchengpu orange line & just a few minutes to the Dayi green line. There is a convenience store right next door. Decent sized rooms & clean although there was a slight musky smell when we checked in probably due to moisture from humidity. We left the air conditioning on & it was ok after a while. Apart from the art centre, the area is industrial so very little activity. Overall we enjoyed our stay which was sufficient for what we needed.

New ZealandOur room had the fire escape equipment and a light for this exit above the window. This was almost as bright as the room light, except you are unable to turn it off.
Very lovely rooms, small but had all you needed.

TaiwanThe location was within walking distance of the waterfront, UBike station, MRT, light rail station and many tourist attractions. It is ten minutes’ walk to the restaurants in Pier 2. The neighborhood was clean and safe. The hotel offered good value for money.

FranceThere should be some international/asian options in breakfast. It was totally Chinese food. The hotel should provide tooth paste, tooth brush and a face wash for the stay. There should be a drinking water cooler or the hotel should provide more bottle of water to drink.
The room was OK and the location was good.

CanadaThe room was tiny and all surfaces were wiped down with some kind of slippery cleaner. The wifi was awful and it was impossible to watch internet movies. The beds were typical Taiwan hard.
The hotel had laundry and self service instant coffee. Very basic, no frills kind of place. The location was good and very close to Pier 2 and the green line. The staff were friendly.

TaiwanDo not take the breakfast. It's a pity to waste a meal in their restaurant instead of taking dozens of much better choices of breakfast in the city.
All typical items are well prepared in room. Nice position for tourist with fewer luggage.

SingaporeA little too far from the city area. No many local eateries ard. The bfast is at d other city suites hotel which is abt 3-5mins walk away. So you will have to walk over for bfast. So it can be a bit inconvenient if it's raining. The bfast also ends at 930am which is rather early for hotel
Design of Room is quite pretty and cozy. Has a nice view. Is quiet and near the pier 2 sights. Has a huge car park just opposite d hotel

ChinaNot really a dislike but I got unlucky in my room being beside a bunch of loud kids on a school trip. However I was able to easily change my room to a much nicer and quieter room without question.
It’s an apartment style bedroom with en-suite. Pier view is nice. The bed is really comfortable compared to other places I stayed in on the trip.

TaiwanThe shower’s water leaked into the room, apparently something was broken in the divisions between the bathroom and the bedroom.
