Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

New ZealandChecked in at around 9pm and was given a room with moldy walls and curtains as well as a hole in the wall shoddly covered up with tape. Asked to change rooms but was advised that this was the last "superior double room" they had and instead they could only upgrade to a "deluxe double room" which howver would cost us an extra TWD1,300 for 2 nights. This is considering we were already paying TWD12,550 for two nights so ended up paying almost TWD14,000 for two nights. If we had arrived earlier we would have just left for another hotel, however given how late it was had no other choice and was forced to pay the hotel more money just for them to give us a habitable room. Worst experience ever at a hotel and pretty much ruined our trip to taipei.

Abkhazia, GeorgiaWe stayed at the hotel for a week and we only took the hotel breakfast once. The breakfast food variety is limited for $200NT per person. The ventilation at the basement lift lobby is poor as there is a smell lingering for days. Likely due to the basement level and the common toilet next to the lobby. Another problem is our room 1113 entrance is nearest to the lobby, you can imagine how unpleasant each time we exit/return our room. The layout of our room door is also poorly located, it is too near to the lobby and there is no proper privacy cos each time people can see into our room while waiting for their lift. The sound insulation between our room is also terrible. We could figure out what the next room activities from the noises through the thin partition wall. The pillows are very flat too, not comfortable at all.
There is a night market nearby.

United States- Going back to the facilities, while the furnishing are modern there were definitely signs of wear and tear throughout the room, suggesting maintenance hadn't been done for quite some time. - The bed is a bit on the small side in terms of length. I am not a tall person, probably about 5'5" - 5'6" and my feed could easily reach over the edge of the bed in a normal sleeping position(with some space between my head and the backboard). If you are tall it might get uncomfortable if you are traveling with other people. - There is a provided bidet. The important parts still worked thankfully but it was still partially broken as it appeared to have the functionality to automatically open / close the seat which did not seem to work. To be fair, perhaps I just didn't understand how to operate it since the instructions on the control panel were entirely in mandarin; while I can speak fairly fluently I am unfortunately completely illiterate ha. - One last point about the bathroom, there is weirdly no spot to hang towels . - There's no luggage stand provided, I had to keep my luggage on the floor which was not ideal. - This is not the hotel's fault of course but the location in proximity to the subway was a tiny bit inconvenient. You either have to make a bunch of transfers in order to come out to the stop closest to the hotel, which is still a 10-15 min walk away, or walk 20-25 min from city hall. Fortunately it is close to some bus lines but note that if you are relying on something like Google Maps to get around, it will likely suggest that you walk from city hall so you will likely have to plan out the bus route on your own.
- The facility is mostly modern(more on this later) and very clean. The room was surprisingly spacious for a hotel in a big city, definitely way more than I needed for one person. - It has a large tub as well as a shower area and there are in-room toiletries provided free of charge as well as a hot water heater and coffee + tea. - The front desk staff is friendly, quick and efficient. - There is a buffet breakfast provided in the morning that seems ok. Mostly standard continental breakfast style stuff with some Taiwanese breakfast items sprinkled in. My understanding is that only certain rooms include breakfast so you will have to ask the front-desk when you check in. If it's not provided, it's $200 NTD - You are very close to the Rahoe night market if you need food / entertainment during your stay as well as a Family Mart and 7-11
