Need to be quiet as abit of noise in a very quiet environment will be disturbing to other people staying at the hotel. After sunset, streets will be dark and no convenient store around the hotel. Nearest is 1.5km away.

I think the breakfast was something that the hotel owner has bought early in the morning from the nearby vendors. Breakfast was kept warm and tasted not bad. We were lucky as the sky was clear to see the sunset from the room. It was magical. The heating mat in the bed was a live saver. The weather was so cold during our stay.

Very limited breakfast, its hard to find and in winter there is only one small ceiling mounted heater for the room . We spent most of the night huddled under the heater but in summer it should be ok.

I highly recommend this hotel. This was one of the best stays of our trip. The room was spacious with an amazing view and modern bathroom. We loved the breakfast, which can be eaten in the room or balcony while enjoying the scenery. The owners are really kind and helpful. I just regret only staying one night!

heating/air-conditioning system a bit complex. Up a 25 min steep walk from bus stop (our choice). Beautiful on way down!

Great view and balcony from a huge room. Big bed, comfortable, good shower. Hot and cold drinking water available. Right in middle of tea fields, and close to the tea trails. We did beautiful circular walk from doorstep. Offer of lifts if needed. Good restaurants in town - best fill yourself up before going to b&b and take food for evening with you.

Surrounded by tea plantations, the sunset view is magnificent (though the owner says it was not the best), and you can choose to watch it on the terrace or inside the room. Friendly and nice owners and cats. Good place to just chill and relax on your holiday.

Beautiful view over the mountains, perfect to enjoy the sunset from the balcony. The host family is very kind and welcoming. They also arranged pick up and drop off at the bus station in town for me which was nice for the heavy luggage.

There isn't any food options near the accommodation within walking distance. It takes around 10 minutes to get to the nearest town area where you can find convenient stores and restaurants.

The balcony of the room offers an excellent view. We were blessed to see this beautiful view for two hours. The breakfast seemed packed from elsewhere; the serving size was a bit small.

Unfortunately, the car was broken on our first day and so we couldn't get a pickup. The walk to the hotel is steep and tough in the Taiwanese heat.

The location of this hotel is really good, its located well for the bus into Alishan National Park and is surrounded by beautiful walks in the tea plantations. The hotel itself is up a steep hill, it is walkable but its better to contact the hotel and they will arrange a pickup. The view from the bedroom and balcony is stunning and the beds were particularly comfy. The breakfast selection is amazing and you eat it on the spacious balcony with the view.

The location of this B and B is breathtaking. If you come by bus, be prepared for a bit of a hike up the hills, or make sure you get picked up either in town or at the community centre. The breakfast was excellent, and they did much to address one of our dietary restriction (one of us is celiac). The room is large, the beds comfortable, and the view outstanding. We really recommend this.

Road to hotel is too dark and difficult to enter the hotel if you drive huge car.

Large room for 4 persons. With very good view from balcony. Can chit chat and have our breakfast at balcony. Large table and chairs provided. Boss gave us help when our car breakdown nearby hotel before check in.

The view from our room of the clouds and mountains was magnificent. The room was clean and the owners and staff are friendly and helpful with hiking directions. Breakfasting on our balcony was luxurious on the eye.

We liked everything!

Magnificent view of surrounding tea plantation and sea of clouds in the mornings. Decent daily breakfast with a good variety (Taiwanese and western). Owners very generous and kindly helped us with pickup and drop-off at the downtown bus stop. We would like to express our gratitude and appreciation! Room and bathroom very clean and bright. Communal fridge and cold/hot water service just outside the rooms. Location is great for visits to Alishan national park.

It's only a 10 minute drive to town but if you took a taxi, just be sure to bring whatever you need for the night (dinner, lunch). The solitude is actually part of the appeal. Could use more seating. Need to pay a deposit via (Taiwanese) bank, though they may figure out foreigner-friendly payment structures later; this is why most previous guests are from Taiwan. A local friend helped me book.

Absolutely stunning million dollar view from the room and its beautifully designed balcony. Large, comfortable room. View changed from hour to hour, cloud sea like an ink painting one moment (not guaranteed, we were lucky), crisp night city lights twinkling in the distance at 4am, I could sit and watch all day long, except you are in some of the best (hilly) hiking in the country. All my photos from a single overnight stay. Good, simple breakfast. Very peaceful feeling. This is for the quad rooms. Smaller rooms will not have the terrace. Older photos do not show the classy partitions between each rooms' balcony. Would love to return for a whole week. Super kind hosts; don't speak English (I know rudimentary Chinese and used translation app).
