Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

TaiwanThe elevator management needs serious attention. During check-out time, the elevators were constantly full, making it nearly impossible for guests to go downstairs. Many people had no choice but to ride the elevator up first before they could finally descend. This is particularly inconvenient for families with luggage, elderly guests, and small children. A structured check-out system (perhaps based on room numbers) or an elevator rotation strategy could help mitigate this issue. Additionally, this raises concerns about evacuation efficiency during emergencies like fires or earthquakes.
HOTEL COZZI Ximen Tainan is a fantastic choice for families, offering an excellent array of kid-friendly facilities. The outdoor electric cars and track train were absolute highlights for my children—they simply couldn’t get enough! The rooms were spacious and comfortable, making our stay very enjoyable. Plus, the hotel's central location in Tainan makes it incredibly convenient for exploring local attractions and enjoying the city’s famous food scene. Another bonus is the ample parking spaces, which is a big plus for those traveling by car.

United StatesThe lobby music was a 3-minute loop, it got tiring when waiting for the kids. A/C in the room was underpowered, it took at least 3 hours to cool the room to the target temperature. Comforter was too hot, should have been less thick or more breathable.
Cleanliness, amenities, kids play areas, size of the room was amazing, drinks in the fridge. Staff was super nice and helpful. The adult lounge was a great place to relax while the kids drove power wheels outside.

AustraliaPillows are way too large and puffy so neck gets sore. Gym has no weights. Bit pricey. There is a live music show at the back of hotel where there are events held. You can hear the loud music from your room. It’s next to large department store. But if you want to find small eats on the street it’s not that close. Prepare to walk ten minutes and have to understand a map
Very big clean comfortable rooms. Breakfast selection is amazing. Beds comfortable. Rooms are quiet. Staff are fantastic and helpful

Beyond our imagination! Right outside the reception, there is a big playground which offers free electric cars ride and train rides for kids of all ages. My son loves the train ride and the electric cars and the tv with which he can watch YouTube. The decorations are all kids friendly. The hotel upgraded us to the cartoon room for free which is spacious cozy and lovely. Buffet breakfast offers a wide variety of choice. Right next to the hotel are shopping malls which got a great food court of all types of food in the basement. We travel to different places by Uber which is very reasonably priced. It is also walking distance to a few tourist spots though may be a bit long distance for young kids but fine for adults.

United StatesThe air quality in the entrance area seems not that good
During the two days we stayed we had to work remotely, the desk and power outlet is perfect, also the desk is long enough to accommodate two people. I asked the front desk if we can get one more chair, they delivered an additional chair to us immediately, thanks for the great support! Location is good, we were able to walk to Mid-West District for food hunt. There is shuttle from Taiwan High-speed Rail station. This hotel seems very suitable for families with kids, we don't have kids but did not feel bothered as well.

United KingdomHad some noisey neighbours watching loud TV late at night (2 am) and also making lots of banging noises from the floor above, despite the hotel being aimed at for children/families so there will most likely be children sleeping (in my case a 11 month old baby). Perhaps guests should be asked to keep noise down after a certain time given the environment. There's not much else to do in the area before 11am since shops don't open until then.
Very child friendly environment and the Christmas tree in the lobby was a bonus. Very good selection for breakfast. We had a room with 2 double beds and the room was a good size.

TaiwanUnfortunately the gym treadmill was out of order when we stayed so my wife wasn’t able to get a run in. Wish breakfast experience could be a little longer. With only an hour, felt like we were rushing to eat, especially when traveling with a toddler; everything slows down and feeding kids can be time consuming.
Most suitable for family with small children but also for short business trips. The rooms, amenities and especially the facilities were perfect for our 2 year old boy. It literally had everything he loves - trains, cars, slides, sandbox. Stayed in a double. Spacious rooms, spacious outdoor area, an easy to use laundry, and helpful staff all located a short walking distance from the department store. Breakfast was wonderful. Had lots of vegetarian options which not every hotel can accommodate, so it was appreciated. Stayed only one night but didn’t have to really leave the hotel at all. They provided everything a small family like ours needed for our stay.
