Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesMen's and women's bathrooms and showers are on different floors so you may need to go a bit of a distance in the middle of the night.
Very conveniently located and very clean. Note the rooms are small and there are shared bathrooms and showers.

FinlandGreat for a night or two near the airport. Our room and the shared bathrooms were clean. The walls are not the most soundproof, but they offer free earplugs. There's a nice cafe and a 7-eleven nearby. The WiFi worked without problems. We had a nice stay, can recommend for budget travelling.

United StatesGreat location for airport transit, clean, helpful staff. But: First floor is noisy...up until 1 am was my experience. It's not a good location for a tourist, unless one is going to XPark Aquarium. The city of Taipei is an hour away by train (& most places like Taipei 101 will take 2 hours to get there by train).
Staff, cleanliness, price all great. Good location for an airport transit. Ivy in reception was so nice and pleasant!

United StatesOn location, it's good for airport convenience....But people need to be aware how far it is from Taipei of 1-2 Hours. 1 hour by Metro to Main Station and 2 hours away from most tourist sites like CKS Memorial, Taipei 101 or Zoo. So it's not a good idea to stay here if someome is a "tourist". I stayed on both Floor 1 & 3. Floor 1 has people in and out of the Security Door 24/7-- So for anyone who is noise sensitive, I would recommend requesting staying on a higher floor and not on Floor 1. (It's not "noisy" as people in Taiwan are very quiet -- also Hotel provided ear plugs).
***Staff (especially Cena) were Very helpful, friendly and pleasant!!!!!**** Very safe, quiet area. Area is residential, with a few small businesses on the street. The Calligraphy Park is a short couple of blocks away-- nice for a stroll anytime (even safe at midnight, solo). The park has a Calligraphy Museum and an Archaeological Museum. The building with the two museums also has a pleasant Cafe. Clean hotel Luggage storage (free). Good Wi-Fi. One guest washer and dryer on site for reasonable cost under 100 for a load, was very convenient. Nice plus and made it feel more friendly, to have snacks in the entry! Thank you for two pleasant stays! I will be back, and I will send my friends!

ChinaThere wasn't anything that I didn't like because it served its purpose and gave me a good enough stay close to the airport for one night. Everything was good.
It was close to the airport and was the best spot for a layover flight the next morning. The room was clean and comfortable with refreshments provided too.

ItalyThe room was really small though very clean and in perfect working order; it is therefore good enough for a night's stay.
I landed back at Taoyuan Airport quite late in the evening and needed a hotel nearby where I could spend the night before heading back to Taipei the next morning and this hotel served the purpose perfectly well, as it is a short taxi ride away from the airport and only ten minutes' walk from the nearest MRT/subway stop which takes you to Taipei Central Station in less than an hour, not to mention its close proximity to a 7 11 convenience store that stays open around the clock.

SlovakiaShowers were not very clean. Can't flush toilet paper in the toilet. Duvet was a bit too small. We could hear everything from the hallway.
The staff was very kind. We arrived 5 minutes before midnight (as soon as we could after our plane landed) and he waited for us and explained everything with a smile on his face. Very good first impression of Taiwan :) Good to stay 1 night, much better than we expected after looking at Booking page! Great accessibility to the airport, close to the station. Convenience store is also nearby.
