Just to note, the place is a bit far from Taitung center but close to the station, so you can catch the bus or, like me, rent a scooter and go wherever you want. 😇

The owner didn't speak English, but she kindly showed me everything, making check-in easy. The place is clean, and the bed is extremely comfortable. I enjoyed my two-night stay there. 😇

I had a lovely stay at K2 Hostel! The room was spacious, clean, and body wash and shampoo are at disposal! The staff is also very kind and available! The hostel is close to Taitung Station which is very convenient.

Very friendly and polite host. Everthing is very tidy and clean. The cleaning of the room, toilet and shower will be made every day. The bed is very comfy and has space for the personal belongings and a locker for the backpack.

Had 2 nights in K2 and totally love it. Stay in 3 persons female dorm room on the 3rd floor. I like three seated living room inside rather than put another bed to make comfortable room. The bed itself was great and spacious and you can put lots things beside the bed. The room has en suite bathroom with bidet and shower, though cleanliness depends with who you shared with. But they always clean it everyday so it's nice if you the first who use it. Has tv inside though not sure if it's working. If you have scooter with you, they have free parking space. First floor have big table that you can use for eating and drinking. Not allowed to eat inside the room though it seems all the hostel in taiwan has this common rule. Owner easily reachable through booking message because I don't have taiwan phone number. Overall great stay

Hostel very clean and with very comfortable beds! Each bed has its own plug, light and a wood tablet to lay stuffs which I found very convenient. Owner was kind, we used Google translation to understand each other :) Convenient location if you need to be near the station.

K2 hostel only had one bathroom (one shower, one toilet, one sink) on each floor. This was inconvenience on the dorm floor where many people may have needed to use the bathroom at one time. There was another bathroom on the first floor where the common area was so that helped.

I liked the location next to the Taitung Train station.

I just didn’t sleep at all. Someone on top of me was snoring insanely loudly, even though I was wearing earplugs, it was so loud it was impossible to sleep at all. So I spent the night trying to wake him up to get a minute of sleep but nothing worked. It is so so rude to book a room in a hostel with so many people if you have such a heavy problem. Also the hotel is in the middle of nowhere. So so so far from anything interesting in Tainan, I had to do car pulling. Also the living area is very small and intimidating, I wasn’t feeling like I could chill there and have a meal or anything… But not bad, just very unlucky

there is no public transport to reach. the host should keep refreshments as basic courtesy. the cost for just one dorm bed is too high without even basic hosting facilities. there is no lift to carry heavy luggage to form
