Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IrelandNice hotel with washer and dryer in the room which was really handy. It’s very loud so I would recommend using when you are out for the day. The dryer takes ages, so leave a bit of extra time for this. Bathroom has some damp issues but all in all it’s clean.

United StatesFurther away from Taipei main MRT Water temperature for shower was hard to dial in.
Very comfortable bed. It was the highlight of the room. We were able to use the washer, however, the dryer didn’t really work which is OK because they supply a drying rack that was adequate for our needs. It’s located pretty close to where Ningxia market is, about 3 min. The nearby breakfast place was pretty good and cheap. It’s somewhat farther away from the main MRT station, and took about 15 minutes to get there by foot with our luggage. The location was quiet. The heated water was somewhat difficult to control. I recommend that you test the spigot first before the showerhead.

Also it is in our favorite area in Taipei. The nightmarket is around the corner and the MRT station is just a short walk away. we will come back for sure!

AustraliaThe lighting in the room is very dim. The bathroom needs much brighter lighting above the vanity as it's hard to see clearly in the mirror. The room can be made up each day, but towels weren't replaced. Also, no bathroom amenities like toothbrush, comb, etc. provided, though there was soap and shampoo, and a hair dryer. While coffee was provided, there was no milk or whitener, and no spoons (though we didn't look in the common area, which also has a fridge). Like much of Taipei, paper can't be flushed down the toilet and has to be placed in a bin. Overall the main issue was the dim lighting in the bathroom.
Large room with plenty of windows for light (the morning sun can be hot, but windows can be opened if there's a cool breeze and there are block-out blinds). Comfortable bed, and great water pressure in the shower with good hot water. The room was clean, though a bit industrial looking with the ceiling just being concrete with conduits running across it. Clear instructions on finding and entering the room. Common area outside the room with a water filter (so unlimited drinking water) and a microwave, though we didn't use that. Water and coffee also provided in the room each day. Only met staff briefly a couple of times, but very friendly and helpful. Quick responses to queries via the app. Good location near Ningxia night market with plenty of food nearby, including a Lawsons just across the road. The night market gets packed though. Also not far from Dihua Old Street. There's a lift to the room, which is on the 5th floor, but a few steps to get from the entrance to the lift. Generally a good place to stay near the night market, with an 8-10 minute walk to the red subway line and a bit further to Taipei main station. Uber pick-up at the main MRT station from the airport is rather confusing though due to construction going on around there.

SingaporeNothing- just that the entrance to this hotel is not too obvious at street level.
Clean, spacious, well- located & tastefully decorated rooms with large windows looking over the school opposite. 5 mins walk to Ningxia night market. Approximately 15 mins walk to Dihua street area. We used youbikes (rentable bikes) which have parking areas on both ends of the street, which further shortened traveling time to Dihua Street & Dadaocheng Wharf area. Loved the scent of the housebrand shampoo & body wash provided by the hotel. No problems communicating with staff through booking.com app. They even provided free postal service for me!
