Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

the room feels stuffy as there’s no window. the kitchen need better cleaning. the clothes dryer need to get fixed as it took me multiple times to dry the clothes which means more money.
located abt 10min walk from Taipei Main Station & good bus connection in the city. It’s also near 2 halal restaurants. the staffs were amazing. they have laundry and iron for clothing.

Hard to find: apparently the address is not correct on Google Maps, very complicated for non-chinese speakers to find the place.

My room smelt stuffy and the floor squeaked. Condensation ran down the window and wet objects on the shelf. I had to ask for a towel and bath mat. Later found out I should have paid extra for the towel. The kitchen area had lots of dishes always left out-some clean and some dirty. It always looked in use.
It was a quiet place close to 2/28 Peace Park and the Taiwan National Museum. A fairly long walk from Taipei Main Station. Lots of food eateries nearby. Tea & instant coffee was available in the kitchen area with a ceramic mug (Ikea). It was good to have access to a washing machine & dryer even coin operated.

Bathroom cleanliness was subpar, and the showers were frankly disgusting. There is no soundproofing so remember to bring earplugs (I’m not a light sleeper, and was woken up multiple times).
Great location. Closely situated to public transport, within walking distance of many attractions. Room was very basic but fine for a short stay. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The beds were quite hard.
Very nice vibe to the place. Good kitchen/dining area. Wifi was good. Rooms were small but fine. Location was great.

The room has smell of musty. Humid in the bedroom with a fake window that doesnt open. Also in the bathroom. You can hear everything from out of the room (loby, streen) specially hagong the sharing bathroom and loby just next to this. Even when we hD private bathroom, the shared bathroom was wet and dirty

Location is good. 10mins walk from ximending shopping and close to Taipei Main station and there’s a 7 11 in front of the building, very convenient and comfortable place to stay

The cleanliness is worrying. The shared bathroom was gross. The slippers used in the hostel look like not beings sanitized for quite some time. Didn't receive much help from the reception too. Worst stay I have experienced in Taipei.
Location convenient. Have to walk a bit from taipei main station about 10 to 15 mins. The nearest exit is Z10.

I think the hotel was just too expensive. I paid extra for a "room with window" that faced a red brick wall. There was mold in the bathroom and hair on the bed. Staff did not speak English very well so it was not always easy to communicate. There is no living room, people do not socialise . The area around main station is convenient but not very nice and hostel is not easy to find.
The location is convenient right by Taipei Main Station. There is free water and tea at the lobby. Hotel is alright, just overpriced. When I checked out they let me leave my backpack. The bathroom in my private room was well equiped.

you can't open windows
Very convenient location, the center is nearby, the bus stop in a few steps and Taipei Main Station is also within walking distance. We had a round panoramic window and it was quite quiet for such a central place.

My whole body was badly bitten by bed bugs, although they changed the bedsheet and blanket for us, bed bugs issue is still there.
The room and toilet looks new. Staff was quick to address our bed bugs issue.

I like most of the facilities, staff, and locations.
Convenient location between Taipei main and Ximen stations and secure rooms including controlled access. Staffs are very helpful. There are many stores and restaurants around the area. A self-coin laundry (though only one) is available inside the reception. An automatic self-check-in machine must be used.

No room cleaning.
Great location, near to alot of spas and Ximending area. For private rooms no need to bring toothbrush and towel since they provide you with a set. We liked the large rooms as well.
