Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

All good.
Well equipped with all the amenities a traveler needs. 24 hour Latte machine in the lobby and a very nice breakfast selection in the morning. There is even a rec room with pool and ping pong tables. A large mall is close by with many options for food and shopping.

We stayed overnight because of proximity to the airport. The staff were very welcoming, rooms were large and well appointed, hot and cold water available in each hallway, juice biscuits etc available in the foyer as was coffee. Breakfast was very good with plentiful choices.

location is nit in cbd. but 12 min walk to a shopping mall.

As small thing, but greatly affects a good sleep: the pillows were too firm for me. It would be nice if given both soft and firm pillows to choose between.
I searched very long to find the best place near the airport for arriving and departing with my bicycle in order to cycle Route 1 (I did not want to start downtown). Freedom Design Hotel exceeded all my needs! Large rooms, modern conveniences, good soaking tub, massage chairs in gym, outstanding breakfast selections, free laundry on each floor, luggage storage for my bike case. But best of all were the helpful, friendly staff who patiently answered all my questions (before and after arrival), referred me to an excellent local bike shop just 5 minutes ride away, and even helped me call a farm stay on the southern tip (I don't speak Chinese). I highly recommend and commend the hotel and staff!

Great room and breakfast buffet. The bathroom is very big and has a smart toilet. The activity room has a lot of great facilities, including massage chairs, gym, and kids activity toys, etc.

Very spacious and comfortable room. Close to the airport. Amazing breakfast AND the staff made a lovely to-go breakfast bag for an early morning flight on our second morning. The Thai restaurant next door has delicious and inexpensive dinner options when we were too jet lagged to go out for a meal.

It was a little further away from the airport than I had thought, and there isn't really much you can walk to.
We staid here for a quick overnight layover on our way through TPE. The property was about a 15 minute taxi ride from the airport, and there's not much close by, but the staff were very accommodating and it met our needs. The breakfast was also great. I would stay here again.

Nothing at all.
The location is near a very busy shopping mall within walking distance. Yet it is at a quiet spot. The best part was it has laundry facilicty on each floor for guest for free. It is a bit far from the airport but it was acceptable,

This place is a cheap taxi ride from the airport and a mall with a lot of food options and any random things you might need. The hotel itself was very nice and clean and the free breakfast was very good. Staff was helpful. An extra bonus was the laundry facility!

The breakfast buffet is very good ! And good location. Gym and family room is very convenient. The hotel provides a lot of personal stuffs even we check in pretty late, and give us one hour extension for check out.

A lot of children played at 2nd floor, unluckily that our room closed to that play area. So during 8 Am , we heard noisy from the kids playing the game next to our room.
Good location, close to Taimall by walking only 5 minutes. Staff were friendly and able to communicate in English! The hotel allowed us to drop the luggages one night (prior to the check in date) since we stayed in Sun moon lake and come back to check in.

I had an early flight and spent the night here. It's a 15 to 20 min ride to the airport which was convenient. There's a mall with in a 5 min walk where it offered a ton of restaurants. The hotel is nice and clean as well as the room. They do offer free washer and dryer. There was also free breakfast buffet. Overall a great stay for a layover.

Very family-friendly hotel! Great design elements and features, including a game room area, separate play room, and amenities. Very convenient for a stay near the airport. Also within walking distance from a large mall with a huge playground.
