- the room was very dark if the ceiling light was switched off. Perhaps there could be a dim light which could keep the floor area visible.

- excellent location - helpful and friendly boss and staff - property was well-cleaned and maintained. - the toilet area was welcoming with sweet flower diffuser aroma from Cocodor Black Cherry - well-decorated with Xmas tree and lights

Located in a residential area, close to a bus stop and the main attractions. Bright, clean and secure, with a lovely common area and a free simple breakfast. It is better to let them know your expected time of arrival. English is spoken. I would stay there again.

The bed and blanket are all very comfortable. Beds are separated by wooden divider, with the curtain that provides very good personal space.

Nobody at the reception: do it yourself! No place to open the suitcase in the room.

Nice place very quiet and well situated Breakfast very simple, but I didn't have to pay for it, so it's ok. there is a big fridge at the reception where you can put your stuffs.

Common area is indeed small but I don’t care about that at all. There is enough room for say 10 people in the common area.

- Very close to Lugang bus station. - Toast with spreads and small snacks available. - Free washing machine and detergent, and hot roof environment quick for air drying. -indoor Sandals are spongey/comfortable unlike the usual cheap ones provided in Taiwan -nice modern and clean bathrooms. -owner responsive and helpful

I spent a couple day there and the first day apart at my arrival, then i didn't see anybody of the staff anymore. No teaspoon no fork. Wifi sometime little slow.

The bed was an uncomfortable spring mattress. Because of cleaning, no entry is possible between 11 AM - 3 PM even for people who are staying more than a night.

The hostel is uniquely self serve because there is never an on-site staff, even though someone is also responsive via Booking.com messages. The facilities are also very well kept and clean, but I especially love the cloth drying space which brilliantly uses the AC vent's hot air for quick drying. The free food in the lobby (coffee, tea, snacks, toast) was also a lovely touch. The proximity to the terminal bus station is also an advantage in allowing guests to quickly enter and exit Lukang and explore the main attractions by foot and bus.

Other travellers stored their bikes inside the already very small hallway which made moving around the hostel more challenging for the first night of my stay. When they were gone it was much more comfortable.

A little difficult to find using google maps, but a kind neighbour showed me the way. Good location, close to restaurants and the main bus station. The bed was the most comfortable of the 8 different hostel and hotel beds I have slept in during my time in Taiwan :)

The bed was a bit soft, and there was not a shelf to put things like a charging phone in the bunk bed. Biggest negative was the lack of windows, but that is normal in Taiwan.

Nice but small lounge area so it can get crowded quickly. Guests are requested not to hang out in the lounge area between 1100-1400h as they are cleaning and the space is small.

Clean, comfortable, good location. Drink dispenser, tea & coffee, free snacks and sliced bread with a selection of spreads. Good size lockers. Friendly owner. Free to use washer and clothes drying line. Good value.

Self check in was easy, hostel is new and spotless, everything I needed was provided (including snacks, coffee, and free instant noodles!), location was convenient just a few minutes away from the Old Street, and I loved the Totoro statue in the entrance.

the living area is very small, i wasnt used to it. theres barely room to walk around especially when its fully packed with 8 people. but i understand that the hostel is quite small

very cozy common area, very clean hostel. even has free snacks in the living room. the outdoor garden is really nice
