PERFECT location, right on the path to the Jiufen Old Street. You can see some of the red latterns from the room balcony. We loved how close it was to visiting the old street, and by 10pm the entire town was quiet and we sat on the balcony enjoying the quietness and watched the lights of the town.

At first it’s a bit hard to find but overall very comfortable, bright and clean. Just the bed is a little too soft for our liking, other than that very satisfied!

I had the option for a shared bathroom and I would say it was a little small for a shared bathroom but nothing major as I only stayed there for one night.

The location was very central to the town, it was a minute away from the 7-eleven near the bus stops. I just wanted to highlight that the terrace was just so amazing. The sunset from it was beautiful and there was no one there the all night, I spent my time there as the sunset turned into night and the stars came visible. I came on my birthday and it was just magical. I was lucky to see Jiufen both on a sunny day and a misty weather which gave it its magical feeling.

Hard to find, even with staff assistance. Difficult to access, making traveling with large luggage very inconvenient (lots of narrow, steep stairs). Shower bizarrely has no separation with toilet, nor proper ventilation.

Comfortable bed, spacious room, and free provided amenities. Room was decently clean. Near the Jiufen old district. Also allows for free luggage storage before checkin/after checkout, making exploring very convenient!

It was a bit difficult to find the hotel reception.

The hotel staff was very kind and helpful. Because the hotel is located near Jiufen old street, it was convenient to enjoy there. The bus stop is a few minutes away from the hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable.

There was a bit of confusion for us as the address on booking.com is different from where we were put up, albeit a short walking distance.

It’s a short distance from Jiufen old street. Near enough but away from the hustle bustle of stalls and customers jostling. I like the fact that they have a heater as it gets cold at night.

Great guesthose, brand new and well-appointed, with free chocolates and tea and coffee. Beautiful room with a balcony and a great view. One minute away from the old street but tucked away from the noise and the crowds.

No window. I don't like to sleep with the aircon on as I get quite easily a cold. And there is no barrier between the shower and the redt of the bathroom. So if you shower, the whole room is flooded. And outside the room, there were some machines running which you could hear in the room during the night. These 3 points make it a 9/10 instead a 10/10.
