Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

not super clean. it was tidy but you can definitely see some ware due to lack of detailed maintenance. on the weekends, the noise from the nearby clubs was heard into the night. wouldn’t stay here again because of that

Very poor wifi and breakfast could have been bit better.
Location was perfect and hotel was nice and clean. Gym that customers are able to use is very good.

we got a big enough room but right next to a very noisy street. the sound lasted until 3am or so…. sound proof is definitely something that need to be improved

Wonderful and helpful staff. We sent our luggage from Kaohsiung and informed the staff to hold our luggage until our arrive and all worked smoothly, thanks to the staff. Breakfast was good, but limited selection for vegetarian. Room service and housekeeping were very efficient. Very close to bus stop, MRT (subway), which was very easy to follow and one can go all over Taipei. Front desk also help us with a wonderful driver who took us on a day trip out of Taipei. Next to the main shopping center, the Taipei 101 Tower and Elephant Mountain. Definitely recommend this hotel.

the room had a slight musty smell when we entered probably due to the carpeting.
very well located in the shopping area of Xinyi, close to 101, Breeze Nan Shan and ATT almost at doorstep. about 10mins walking distance to Taipei city hall station and to the entire Mitsukoshi shopping blocks. sound proofing was quite good, we hardly heard noise although our room was right next to the lift lobby. bed was large and comfortable, room was well sized

need to walk through first floor bar/restaurant, too smoky(many people sitting there using cigarette), and very crowded at weekend, not feeling safe/comfortable walking through the first floor with kids. the room smells like KTV, with minor smoke and humidity combination. sound proof is not great, you can hear night club music and crowd noises

NOISY AT NIGHT. I was awakened by the noise at 1:52am because the hotel is surrounded by bars. People were laughing and talking loudly. I didn't get to go back to sleep until 4:00am until it got a bit quiet.
Location is excellent. Value for money. Room is nice. Breakfast is average.

Located on the same street as all the clubs and bars, so it’s loud with music and people screaming until sunrise. The windows in the hotel are not soundproof enough. The room we stayed at (king suite) also smelt like cigarettes.
Conveniently located, walking distance to everything like malls and restaurants in Xinyi.

It’s located on the street of all the night clubs and bars, so you will hear people screaming and loud music even if you stay on a top floor. The room also smelt like cigarettes.
