Great location for exploring taroko. 10 min walk to visitors centre. Feels a bit like the matrix when you have to speak to a guy on a phone about everything, but the system works! His English is excellent and he managed to organise us a taxi at late notice so we could uplift to the top of Wuling pass with our bikes. They were very accommodating to cyclists.

The cleanliness of the beds needed much improvement. There are 2 beds... I saw a tick on one of the bed and an insect on the other.

The staff is friendly. Food is alright. The view was nice. There's an 24 hours 7 Eleven nearby if you need to get something.

Amazing location only a few minutes away from the taroko visitor center. A few eateries and 7eleven around. Spacious rooms. If you are travelling alone and without your own means of transport, this is a very good and convenient place to stay at.

I stayed there for one night. The room and facilities were clean and great but what I would like to highlight is the great service by the owner! He explained me a lot, helped me by printing documents and ven drove me to the scooter rental place and helped me get a scooter. Such great service! The other staff was very nice too!

We felt like this hotel was very close to getting the basics just right but missed on the following points. Shower head at chest height and no shower curtain so the entire bathroom gets soaked. Pillows are massive and therefore can't really be used without neck pain. We were in the basement which has a window on the downhill side. They keep the rooms open for fresh air but once you lock your door, it starts to get musty inside. Front desk is managed remotely so there isn't anyone to help you with travel questions or problems. For example, it would have been nice to know that all restaurants in town close at 7pm after which you can only eat at 7-11.

As a basic hotel, almost everything was as expected. Rooms can be different but ours was very quite and clean.

We stayed 5 nights at this hotel. Because it is off season and the hotel was quiet, on 3 days we had an individual breakfast box instead of the buffet. the staff did apologise for this. It was ok.

Nice view of mountains from window. Beds and pillows good quality and comfortable. clean. Good location to catch the bus to the Gorge, bus stop outside hotel. Staff helpful, friendly.

We stayed for 5 nights but because the hotel was not busy for 3 mornings we had an individual breakfast box. These were ok. The staff did apologise for this. As it was off season (May) only 1 restaurant was open in the village (1min from hotel) only from6.00pm to 7.00pm but the food was excellent. But that closed on Saturday night so it was a 7eleven meal!

We had a nice room at the back with a mountain view. The beds and pillows were good quality and comfortable. The location was good, it was quiet, and the bus into the park stopped outside the hotel.

One day it was a quite nice buffet and next day a small lunch box given with salad and a boiled egg. Very unsatisfactory. Location is good as you can walk to the main trail. And take a bus from across the road to the gorge

Breakfast is alright, a bagel and salad and some fruit. Coffee and tea. If you’re not about the simple breakfast, don’t fret, there’s a 7-11 just a 1 or 2 minute walk down the road.

Don’t listen to the detractors, this place is an incredible value! Large rooms, clean beds, tv, ac. What else do you need? It’s also right next to the entrance to the national park. Do yourself a favor and rent a motorbike at the train station (you don’t need an IDP there) it’s a great way to see the park.

Outside noises are very easy to hear inside the room.

Very close to the park area, next to the bus stop. The staff was extremely nice and caring. The room was very big and clean, the bed was very comfortable. Coffee, water and breakfast was more and better than I expected.

There was no shower curtain, which made things quite wet.

The staff, and guests, were so kind and accommodating and the room was a bit different, but very clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend for a family. Breakfast was also lovely.
