Had a wonderful experience here, and met amazing people (both staff and fellow travelers). The location is superb with bus stop just outside and railway station at an easy walking distance. The staff members are very polite, helpful and speak good English. Overall recommend this stay for day trips to Shifen, Jiufen, Keelung, etc.for easy commute

There isn't heat in the room (doesn't bother me at all, I come from a cold climate) But if you need to be warm, you might not like it. Also the walls are quite thin (again didn't bother me but might bother some people).

This place was awesome! Convenient location brighter in the train station, it was very clean. I also loved the way the bathroom was designed, where the sink, shower, and toilet was all separate. So you never had to wait. I was there during the winter and it was totally empty, I think maybe the room would feel a little small if it was totally full, but it really was quite fine. The hostel reception was really nice and he spoke a little English too so I was happy! They also let me store my bike inside though I don't think there would be space to store more than one bike.

I love everything here. The cleanliness of this inn is exceptional. From our bedroom , bathroom , hallway, common area are so clean and odorless. Feels like home . I will be back to my next visit. And the also the cheap price and good location.

Was not expecting such a super hostel in a small, off the beaten track town. Steps from the train station, buses, and food. Staff were very friendly and helpful with information. Very spacious dorms and very clean place. Nice common area on the upper floor. Good base for exploring Jiufen and the coastal attractions like the geopark.

Super clean, super nice. By far the best hostel I've ever been in. You can tell everything is very well maintained. The owners/staff are clearly very thoughtful, there is everything you could need: from free menstrual products to snacks to universal plugs. Would 100% recommend!

This is hands down the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. The room/ bed was incredibly comfortable and spotlessly clean, including the bathrooms and restrooms. The hostel is exceptionally well managed and organized. I’ll definitely stay here again the next time I visit JiuFen, especially since there are many city buses connecting the hostel to various hiking and sightseeing areas.

Great location, bus stop in front of the hostel. Train station few minutes walk. Stayed for 3 nights doing day trips to Jiufen and Pingxi line. Food market nearby! Place was very clean and comfortable.

Only 1 toilet cubicle in the men's bathroom area. The lighting in the bedroom could be more gentle on the eye, instead of using the bright white office lighting, they could have used warm white lighting for the bedrooms area.

Good location, but hard to find initially as you won't be able to see this hotel from the main road. Very well equipped and very clean. Excellent books collection, including comics in the living room area.

Could leave my bag over the day after check out but it was not behind a "lock". My only complaint, otherwise perfect.

Exceeded my expectations. Everything was perfect except. Welcoming. Clean. Several hangout spaces. Tv, free tea and cookies. Big fridge. Late working staff. Perfect location right next to the busstation to Jiufen.
