Breakfast is simple

The bed is very comfy. Public space is amazing. Also love that there's a shoe dryer to use since it rains a lot there.

Nice enough hotel but the person working the front desk was super unfriendly bordering on hostile that created a very unwelcoming atmosphere which was a major negative. Other minor negatives like no shoes allowed beyond the reception area made things a little awkward particularly if you just want to pop back to the room for something. The toilet was located inside the shower enclosure which was a little strange. Also the breakfast had very limited options and the dining area is very small so we couldn’t find anywhere to sit. Again all minor but we would not book again because of the unwelcoming atmosphere.

- Staff unresponsive when I requested it they could have provide late breakfast as I arrived super late in the night very responsive when they needed to swipe for payment the next morning - The property is on top of a cliff so avoid carrying big luggage as there is no staff to assist you if you reach in the evenings - For the price it doesn’t match up the amenities and the service provided and room is quite compact , washroom even more compact

Unfortunately, they engaged in deceptive advertising from my point of view. The pictures showed views to the water and roomy accommodations. They gave me something that was opposite of what I was expecting. The window looked out to the side of another building and water tanks, which made a horribly loud sound when the rain dripped off the building onto the tanks and kept me up all night long. I paid up front for 3 nights and only stayed 1 night because of the room I was given. They should have told me about the room before I completed my booking.

In general, the staff that I interacted with were nice and helpful. The location in relation to Old Street was great, being at the top of it all. The accommodations were clean. The common area was nice and clean. The breakfast offered was good and plentiful.

You could hear the other guests in their rooms, and toilets or showers. Over all not as clean as I would wish it to be.

Location is very nice, view was nice too, and the breakfast although simple pleasant.

We miss some fruits with the breakfast. If you are not used to Taiwanese breakfast it's a bit to little to have only toast. The matrasss is quite hard.

Friendly welcome, very nice common are and t room, with beautiful design. Easy access with the keys. Nice shower and showergel/shampoo.

No place to hang towels in the toilet. Would help if can install bidet for washing at the toilet since toilet paper cannot be thrown into the toilet.

It is right om the top of the hill, so we need to lug our luggage go through the busy old street and walked up at least 168 steep steps to reach the hotel, not very friendly to the one that can't climb well

1. I paid more for a superior room with an ocean view and I attached the photo which, to be honest can barely see the ocean. 2. The staff forgot to take my information down when I first arrived and she sent me to send the passport details while I was out. 3. We got a room on the first floor and we could here literally everything. No soundproof.

It was certainly clean and I liked the breakfast.

A great location at the top of the hill in Jiufen with great views down the hill to the coast. There were a couple of public rooms to relax and to eat breakfast.

Most expensive place we stayed - double price of everywhere else. Maybe because of holiday weekend but overpriced for what you got.Tiny room. No parking near hotel.Had to park hundreds of meters up hill on steep, narrow street. Difficult to find and access. Signage totally inadequate. Shower and toilet in same tiny cubicle a problem. Design of room with multiple steps to toilet etc a trip hazard. Lack of hand towel. Steep narrow stairs to 3rd floor room.

Breakfast quite good. Nice view from room when not raining. Common areas tastefully decorated. Close to Jiufen Old Street if packed shopping alleys is your thing.

I booked 3 double bedrooms for 6 People, but due to not sure my friends full name, I just filled up 4 pax name only, Next day I emailed to inform them 2 more friends name, I was told to add money for that. I think this was not flexible. End up I got to pay extra, no logic. Will not recommend friends in future.

difficult access, breakfast too simple (not refilled after guests finished the supply trays) considering nearby food outlets open only at 11am & checkout time too early also 11am. bathroom extremely small but bed is big.
