I thought that I just booked a room! I found that breakfast and dinner buffet were included, along with coffee, tea, ice-cream, and snacks all day long, as well as free laundry facilities and bicycles. I had seen free laundry and snacks mentioned in other reviews and, frankly, I didn't really believe it! The laundry facilities were excellent and included detergent as well. The breakfast and dinner buffet options were substantial. The room was also surprisingly nice with an excellent shower and toilet with bidet functions. All around fabulous for the price - I would stay here again the next time I was in Hualien for a hike.

SingaporeRoom looks generally clean & comfortable. But when we bent down to get something from under the bed, the floor under the bed was filled with dust. If u don't mind it, it's ok.
They provide breakfast, afternoon snacks & buffet supper from 8 - 10pm daily. Ice cream, hot & cold drinks throughout the day.

United StatesThis hotel is about an 8 minute walk from the train station. We used local taxis to get around. We booked a private tour in advance to go to Taroko Gorge. Hotel had the best buffet breakfast and dinner compared to the other hotels we stayed at in Taiwan. Staff is helpful and kind.

United StatesThe checking in experience was a little negative and it put a bit of a damper on my visit. Also, my schedule changed and I had to stay a day less than planned. The property refused to refund the additional day.
The room was nice and well equipped. The hotel provided a generous breakfast buffet and evening supper included in the price which was is why I'd rate it good value. Location is convenient to the Train station.

Overall comfortable stay. They even serve supper from 8 to 10pm, although food variety is not much.
