AustraliaThe air conditioning smelt of second hand smoke which was not only in the room but also on the ground floor where the lobby is. If this could be improved the hotel would be perfect.
The bathroom was fantastic with a bathtub and a separate shower. There were excellent bidet toilets which were very clean.

Hong Kongit's understaffed. The double bed is too small for two adults. wifi is slow.The hotel is close to metro and main station but I wish I booked somewhere closer to sightseeing spots. It's overpriced during lunar new year anyways.
The staff are really friendly and helpful. Room is clean. Shower is good. It is quiet in the room. There is enough lightings and eletric plugs. staff helped bring extra blanket so my parents could sleep undisturbed. The breakfast has vegetarian options but there's no fruits.

NetherlandsSmall choice for breakfast of standard quality. We decided to stay for a longer time but that included a Saturday on which we payed almost twice the price of the other days. Saturdays seem to have higher rates than other days (Sundays a lower) in Taiwan but double the price is a bit exaggerated.
There are at least 2 Kindness hotels in the area. Ours was great, don't know about the other. The room happened to be cleaned at 13:30 and it was no problem to check in straight away. Fairly big room, lacking some minor ammenities like a shoe horn. There are also no icecubes available. That is made up for by free coffee or tea and free ice cream (8 flavours) on the ground floor, all day long. Free laundrette on the 7th floor.. Very friendly and helpful staff. One of our best hotels in Taiwan. With the main train station within walkable distance on one side, a bit further to Formosa Blvd MRT station and Liouhe night market on the other side, the hotel's position isn't a bad one.

TaiwanA tad noisy, you can sometimes hear the neighbours and traffic. Nothing that earplugs can't solve if a bit of noise is really bothering you. I didn't really appreciate the check-out call at 11.30am, when I still had about thirty minutes to hand in the keys. However, it was possible to stay in the lobby after returning the keys, and I was able to wait for my train there, which I appreciated.
The location of the hotel in relation to the station and public transport was excellent! There is also a night market a few minutes' walk away from the hotel, and the nearest underground station is the 'dome of light'. The vast majority of places to visit are within easy reach of the hotel, either by transport or on foot. The room was spacious and clean, the staff very friendly and I appreciated the free self-service drinks (coffee, tea and hot chocolate) and ice creams. I was able to check in a little earlier and that was much appreciated too. Breakfast is decent, even if the choice of sweet dishes is limited and fruit is perhaps missing to make it more complete. However, it does give you the opportunity to taste Taiwanese breakfasts!
