Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomNothing to dislike.
The staff we came across were excellent, respectful, very polite and helpful. The breakfast was fine and had something for everyone. An added bonus was the happy hour between 5-7pm with a good variety of food and a small choice of wine, all complimentary. Location was good and situated very close to a MRT station. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

BelgiumContinued from above: My room was very dark. This despite all the ceiling lighting and the 4 extra reading lamps … I stayed on the 2nd floor. Outside, some trees and bushes were relatively close to the window and the buildings on the other side also blocked some light. It may be different on a higher floor. When I asked the staff, it turned out that the sparse lighting was part of the concept of the hotel … 😉 I remembered a review from someone else who had found dirt under the bed. I didn't find dirt anywhere in the room. But I can imagine how difficult the task must be for the cleaning staff to clean the room with that sparse lighting. An impossible task! It also took some searching to find where the power outlets were (to charge smartphones, etc.). They were there. Just a bit hidden 😊 I stayed here in a more expensive 4-star hotel and to be honest, I'm not entirely convinced that the extra price gave much extra value. It is of course a good hotel but my experience of the journey through Taiwan taught me that the country has a lot of good 3-star hotels. Sorry if this sounds negative. I enjoyed the wine, the great happy hour, the extensive breakfast but what I wrote about the room, should be mentioned.
Conveniently located in the centre of Taipei on a short walking distance from Nanjing Fuxing MRT station. Very quiet and peaceful inside the hotel and the room. My last hotel before the return flight home was also the most expensive on my entire Taiwan trip. It was a 4-star hotel. I was curious how much this would differ from the 3-star hotels I had stayed in before. A first difference is the numerous staff who are present everywhere and at all times and immediately ask if they can help with anything! I thought the happy hour was fantastic, lasting two hours. From 5 to 7 pm. Various types of excellent wine were served and the many hot and cold dishes actually meant a full evening meal. I saw quite a few guests eating extensively and, bearing in mind the price, it became also an early evening meal for me too. The hotel scored very well on that point. The room was well furnished, with a lot of beautiful furniture. Suitable for a comfortable stay. As far as the room is concerned: also read the criticism below. The spacious bathroom was very well lit and completely as desired. It had a bath and a shower. The buffet breakfast was very extensive. The buffet was served in two different rooms that were connected to each other. Too bad that some guests have to sit in lounge chairs to have breakfast. They looked really beautiful of course but were less suitable for having breakfast at the table. See further below.

CambodiaExcellent location and rooms. We spent six nights here. We were surprised that they had happy hours on food from 1700 to 1900. And the spread was substantial. It was akin to dinner. The attention to detail in the rooms is a big plus. The location - two min from the MRT - is a huge help after a long day spent out and walking.

Hong KongThe free wifi does not work properly and more USB outlets should be provided in the room. Nowadays there are too many phones and wifi eggs that need charging outlets.
The location is excellent as the hotel is very close to MRT station. The room is spacious and the facilities are good. Breakfast and the afternoon tea free treat are magnificent. The staff is very helpful and the beds are comfortable.

Hong KongNone. As I just kept working and attended meetings throughout the stay, I didn't find any specific things which were bothering or affecting me.
Good location and accessibility for work and business meeting in Taipei. Clean enough. I can't say many "likes" because I just kept working and attended meetings all the time throughout the stay.

The hotel is so close to the MRT you can easily get out and about Taipei without any issues. Rooms were super comfortable and we have an excellent shower! The breakfast easily filled is up and on most days we didn’t need to stop for lunch. The staff are lovely and super helpful, really enjoyed our stay!

SingaporeThe stay was perfect except that on check-out day, early in the morning when it was still dark, and when I was in a rush to get to the airport, the room was without a power supply -- no light to pack my belongings. The staff only managed to find 1 working torch light. I wonder shouldn't an abundance of torch light be made readily available in an earthquake-prone area like Taipei?! I would have rated this 10 out of 10 were it not for this unfortunate incident.
This is a hotel that pays attention to detail and thoughts in its hardware. An example, it was winter during my stay and in all of the other hotels I stayed in, it was cold after shower. This hotel's bathroom has a heat lamp to warm you up! The 5 pm to 7pm happy hour buffet. 24 hours availibility of hot drink (milk, chocolate drinks, coffee, tea, and hot water) Proximity to the MRT station
