Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe staffs can't speak English, only communicated through Google translator. But don't complain. I should learn basic Chinese language.
Location is good, not far from the Songshan airport. The staffs were helpful arranged taxi in the early morning on nextday. Room is clean and AC worked good.

VietnamThe pre check-in process (all the communications on WhatsApp) was useless. Not sure why the hotel keep asking for confirmation while it's been done on booking.com already. The real check-in process was long too with a staff not speaking English at all. Then the payment is a mess: if you pay by credit card, the hotel will automatically choose on your behalf the payment in oversea currency but charged by their bank at an outrageous rate of exchange (more than 13% difference). I had to complain in order to be reimbursed and finally pay by cash.
The hotel has very large room in comparison to Taipei standards.

United StatesThe hotel had great communication via WhatsApp before & during our stay. Check-in was really easy. The room was large with a comfy bed. The only minor issue was the WiFi in our room kept going out.

AustraliaThe fact that staff don't really speak english. They only have one pillow each for the room, we had to pay extra for more pillows. Room was dusty, the lift was grotty and the hand sanitizer in the lift didn't work at all whilst we were there. Place needs a freshen up. Our internet wifi froze up on 3 occasions whilst there, we had to let them know on each occasion. The tv has lots of channels but only news channels in english. The room safe was problematic so we couldn't use it . Probably more a 3 star hotel Better options out there no doubt
Location wasconvenient as there's lots of convenience stores nearby and bus stops.

ItalyWe found it overpriced; the payment needed to be made in cash, which was hard for us to collect on the spot after landing late in the evening (to be fair, they let us take care of it the morning after). Not very clean, with lots of dust (carpet flooring in the corridors), heaps of laundry thrown in a corner, and a dead cockroach next to the bed. The room also distinctly smelled of smoke (even though it's a non smoking hotel) and the window in our case could not be opened, and was right in front of the wall of the next building so no light coming through.
The location is great, there is a very nice neighbourhood around - quiet, lots of restaurants and cafes. Easy to reach the metro and move around Taipei. The bed was comfortable, and the room pretty big.

United StatesThere was no hand soap in the bathroom, I had to use the body soap provided in the shower. Also, while there were restaurants and convenience stores nearby, the location is not that close to any places we usually wanted to go to and is farther from the subway. We usually took a 10 to 15 min Uber to wherever we wanted to go.
The hotel was better than I expected! The room and bathroom was pretty spacious and clean. I loved having a fridge and blackout blinds, but most of all, there was a bidet! We spent a week there and were very comfortable. Overall, happy with our stay!

ThailandIgnorant staff. All Taiwanese were friendly but not your staff. Not one hello. Room with 24hours darkness because the balcony faced a brick wall. Wifi was shit. Walls as thin as paper. Can hear every noise outside the room. Over-priced waste of time.
