Don't spend more than USD60/night here! The entire building is rather run-down and not well maintained. There is random stuff left lying around in the hallways, dirty old carpets, the stain on the couch mentioned by another reviewer is still there, along with some burn marks. On the rear entrance it say "ibis", while it is not an ibis hotel. Overall very unprofessional/ill-kept appearance. Room: Very small, you'll barely find a spot to place your luggage. Ceiling is very low. I'm not tall and I bumped my head against the door frame of the bathroom. Cleaning seemed entirely focused on the bathroom, which was in decent condition, but the room itself had thick layers of dust in some places. The windows were so dirty that the outside view was blocked and I had to wash my hands after touching the handle to open them.. We heard quite detailed noises from neighbouring rooms every night, no good soundproofing. Organization: I have never encountered a property listed on booking.com that would send you an email after booking saying that they won't reserve the room for unless you get in touch with them via 3rd party chat and pay cash - super weird, annoying and inconvenient. What if you miss the message/have no internet and they just cancel your booking?! I would not stay again, and definitely not for the price we paid! 50-60 USD would be OK I in my opinion.

The bed was very comfortable and hot water was available whenever we took showers.

Wifi is sometimes slow

Rooms are very spacious, and beds are firm and comfy, very appropriate for a good night’s rest after walking a lot the whole day. Bathrooms are spacious, warm water and adequate water pressure. Daily household cleaning is done. Many restaurants nearby and Family Mart/7-11.

Highly recommended!! Stayed here for 5 days (November 3-7) with my family. All I can say was it's very cozy, modern and peaceful. The room was spacious, has a cool temperature and clean bathroom. There is a small refrigerator inside. They also have very accommodating/friendly staff that you can talk for 24/7 thru Line app or Whatsapp 👍. The location of the hotel is convenient and centrally located near Xingtian Temple train station, 7/11 and family mart. I Would recommend this if you’re looking for a cheap/low hotel (budget friendly hotel) and clean place to stay in Taipei. Will surely stay here again or once I decided to have another trip in Taipei, Taiwan .

We felt very comfortable in this hotel. The room is big, clean, well equipped, the furniture looks quite new, the bathroom is huge with a huge shower. The location is great, with lots of bus stop nearby and even the yellow and brown Metro lines are in walking distance.

Extremely helpful staff. Yes, they don't speak English very well, but they translate everything and to communicate with them was never a problem! The room was spacious for Asian size, the bed and the pillows comfy... The bathroom was modern with good toilet and shower pressure and everything was clean. There are a lot of food and public transport options nearby...

There was no window in our room , some lights didn't work, most communication was via what's app. Staff not always around. Basic cleaning done.

Location good, 10 minutes walking distance from train station. Price good for what you get. Bed comfortable. Size was ok. Bathroom large. The bidet was a good addition. Free water. Most staff were helpful when they were around.

1.) Bed was comfy and soft. 2.) Aircon was cold enough. 3.) water pressure of the shower was strong. Toilet was clean. Toilet has the butt washer. Toilet seat was is warm. 4.) Location was superb( lovely neighbour hood with many eateries, bubble tea stalls, breakfast spots, convenient stores around. It was literally a “L” shape walk from Xingtian Temple station Exit 4. Walk straight ALL the way from Exit 4 and turn right and walk straight a little more. 5.) There’s a 24hrs Watsons opp Exit 4, which you’ll definitely need to walk pass. 6.) Though I was a solo traveller, but the room is good enough for even 2pax. 7.) no pics taken but the room is true to pictures posted by the accommodation.

Staffs dont speak much English but they tried their best to accommodate you. We just use Google translate.

The location is easy to find. The room is clean and spacious and with comfy beds. We felt safe and comfortable. Great value for money.

Staff: Another staff gave me the wrong directions to hotel through the Booking.com messaging (there is another branch at another location, and the staff didn't check which one I booked and gave me directions to the wrong hotel). This caused me to spend extra time and energy (with luggage in tow) and money (on taxi). Facilities: Only 1 pillow for each bed and it was too soft. There was a fly in the room, which disturbed me, and I had to spend some time to catch it. Walls/door too thin - can hear people talking if they are outside our rooms. Location: Location-wise not as near to the MRT as I would have preferred (7-minute walk). It is alright if you are just going out, but not with luggage in tow.

Room: Room with twin beds quite big. Bed was comfy. Facilities as mentioned (kettle, refrigerator, hair dryer etc) available and in good working conditions. Bathroom: Bathroom with shower was big. Japanese style toilet with bidet. Location: If you need to buy some food and water, there is a 24 hour mini-mart just 100 meters away. If you want cooked food during the day, few small shops within reasonable walking distance away. Staff: When I told the receptionist I had to spend extra money on taxi to come to the hotel because of the wrong direction given by another staff, the receptionist allowed me to check out later on my last day.

The room had everything we needed and more! The heated toilet seat was new for us, but was lovely. Tea making facilities were useful and the fridge was a good addition. The location was only 5 mins from 2 MRT stations and was in a quiet area, perfect for us! There are lots of good restaurants around for breakfast etc if you look on google maps. The hotel messaged us via whatsapp everyday to ask if we wanted our room cleaned, very efficient service! We highly recommend this hotel!
