The guest house was quite close to the touristic street, but in quiet area. The host lady was quite nice. The breakfast was good. We got the room in the upper floor which had nice view and was nicely furnished.

Property is good. Only thing is Big van or MPV transport (for 7 pax onwards) not able to travel through a tunnel to reach Ji Shan Jie. So need to drop before the tunnel, walk abt 5-10mins to the place. When going back, also walked through the tunnel to wait for our transport there.

Had booked the room since owner mentions accepting credit card on website, but the charging machine failed running card when we checked in and we had no choice but to pay cash, which is a huge disappointment.

We love staying here at Liu house where we got the best view of Jiufen. Our host is the loveliest and she prepares such a wonderful breakfast for us. It's our 2nd time here and easily the place we wanna stay at again.

myself and my friend struggled to find the place even using google maps as its tucked away a bit behind a house, eventually after 15- 20 mins we found it, we also were lead to believe we would be staying in a room with a balcony, after being shown the room this was not the case.

The place was very clean and comfortable, it is close to the main street but far enough away that its the perfect place if you need to relax, would definitely recommend staying if you and your partner would like to get away from busy taipei for a for days, also the 阿姨 was incredibly friendly and lovely, her breakfast was also delicious!

Good value for the money. Good breakfast in a pleasant environment is included in the price. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the location is good, not far from the main street in Jiufen. Spotless clean and large-sized room.

Can be slightly inaccessible when you have a stroller/a lot of luggage.

The lady host is very friendly and goes out of her way to help out! It was raining while we were there and she didn’t hesitate to loan us umbrellas and showed extra concern for us as we’re travelling with a young child. She also helped to push our luggage up the slope both when we arrived and when we departed (through a taxi cab she kindly arranged for us). Breakfast was simple but heartwarming and very thoughtfully prepared. The room was clean and spacious. Thank you for a lovely and smooth stay!

Breakfast is included in the room, but the portion is small. Soy milk can be replenish, but if you ask the boss to replenish it, the face will not look good. If the boss doesn’t take you there, it will be difficult to find a location. Cars cannot be driven up there. Parking is required and costs NT$400 per night. It is best to go to the hotel after dinner, otherwise you will have to go out again (the hotel is on the mountain and you need to walk up the stairs) December is cold at the mountain, inside the room only have one mini mini heater. NO convenience.... Not Value for money....

it was horrible. The property looked not like on the pictures but instead we were placed in a basement that looked as a jail. The living room had cockroaches. I believe based on the reviews other rooms must be nice so I suppose the lady simply gave us a basement just to earn money.

We (a group of 4) really loved the place. It was very clean. The host is very well organised and well prepared. We’ve had welcome soft drinks, water, even slippers. There was an option for vegetarian breakfast which was delicious. The next day we could leave our luggage for storage for free and use the toilet before we left. I definitely recommend that place :)

Some will say this stay is a little hard to find, but that was part of the adventure! It was nestled into the alleys of Jiufen Old Street, the perfect location!

This was a very comfy stay in a cozy little town. The host was even able to check me in early which made me very happy :)
