Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The room felt a bit dusty (old carpet) and had no windows. The toilet was not working properly. There was absolutely no flexibility with check-in or check out hours. There was no common area in the hotel for ppl to hang out, wait to check-in and so on
The hotel's location is great - near to shops, restaurants, subway station. The breakfast was also good, with many options.

Sheer Curtain drapes are old and parts were ripped
Location, laundry room(not free), Breakfast was ok most days always had somthing to choose from, food/clothing stores train station just outside of hotel, front desk and cleaning staff friendly.

If the entrance, lobby and elevators were as clean and updated looking as the room, the entire level of the hotel could have been much higher because the entrance and lobby looked a bit old school and more like a house rather than a hotel.
The room and the bathroom were very nice and clean and spacious, and the location was super convenient.

No hair conditioner or body lotion. Bring your own if needed.
The property is in an excellent location. Subway station is right in front of the building. The family room is big. There’s a bunch of restaurants and cafes in the alleys by the property.

….. just their toilet flushing restrictions. But I can understand as it is an older building.
This should be my 4th time booking with this hotel location and it should be my first choice when staying in Taipei, I am very comfortable with this hotel & location 😊

We were told not to throw toilet paper in toilet as the building is old which is inconvenient.
Excellent location, only 3 minutes walk to MRT zhongxiao dunhua station. Lots of restaurants around. Bed is comfortable not too soft. Breakfast is ok.

Not all rooms have windows so make sure that you book one with a window
Whenever I’m in Taiwan I always staff at this property mainly because of its great location to the MRT station, shops and restaurants

Entrance was small. Not much western breakfast choice.
Right beside the subway zhongxiao duan hua , on a main street. Room was huge by Taipei’s standard with huge windows. Toilets are Japanese type with water washing. No toilet paper allowed in the toilet. The hotel is environmentally conscious. Entrance is on a side street. They have a coin washer and dryer on site, very handy.

The breakfast is not great but a nicety
Hotel is located in a great location with shops and restaurants nearby. The MRT is steps away around the corner from the hotel. Transportation is very convenient and accessible with underground shopping mall.

Unstable water temperature, from normal temperature to sudden hot/cold. Hairs and some dirt are found.
Best location surrounded by many shops and restaurants. Hotel right next to train station. Spacious room with large shower room. Friendly and helpful staff.

there was some mould in the shower area, but still generally ok. could perhaps improve the main entrance and lobby a little to match the rooms (the rooms are way nicer than the lobby).
very good location, near convenience stores, MRT and shops. Room was generally clean and big (great for families). Bed was very big. Water pressure was strong. aircon was cold.
